Good staff, good location and good for value

Beds were small

Loved the facilities and breakfast had alot of options.

Centrally located hotel, good overall noise isolation in rooms. They gave us a free coffee.

The loud music pumped through all the speakers, geared towards teenagers, making it impossible to have a conversation. The mattresses and pillows were also quite uncomfortable. During busy times, it was clear the reception was understaffed. They even handled food requests – one receptionist took my food out of the oven and left it sitting there while she dealt with another client. Five minutes later I had to ask where it was and it was already cold. Don’t ask the staff too many questions or they’ll get irritated. For example, I asked them to turn down the music so I could watch the opening match of the Six Nations. They said it wasn’t possible and when I asked them to turn on the TV in a quieter area they said they’d come over but never did.
