The hotel is overall all very well located, clean, well decorated and the view from the balcony is outstanding.
While paying 443€ for only one night we had many desolations about our stay. The room was clean and the decorations was correct. However, the service didn’t meet the quality standards of a 5 stars hotel. For instance that you take inside of the minibar was charged and there was only a few coffee capsules and tea bags that were gifted. The spa also was an extra charge. We called the reception to express our surprise that even for one bottle of water from the fridge we had to pay some extra and they only answered that it was completely normal. The room was cold as the heating was restricted and we had to ask for a portable heater, it’s a shame.

Beautifully decorated hotel with a stunning panoramic view. Breakfast was average, but the view from the restaurant more than made up for it. Our room was very comfortable, and the staff were friendly, attentive and professional. The view from the property is absolutely stunning, I only wish we'd booked a sea-facing room.
The in-room coffee machine didn’t work, and there was no electrical outlet in the bathroom. However, it was not a major issue for us. We would love to come back again.

Great location and a lovely, very comfortable Sofitel. Highly recommend - awesome views and wonderful restaurant. Parking and valet service is great!
An outdoor pool would have been amazing in summer - but still a wonderful stay

Good hotel in a perfect position overlooking Marseille Harbour. Food, drink and staff were excellent.
The hotel is expensive but the facilities are tired and overdue for an uplift. MY room had a view of a garage roof which if I hadn't been exhausted after two flight cancellations and just needed to go to sleep I would have definitely complained about. You cant charge £350 a night for a hotel billed as overlooking Marseille harbour and offer a room with a view of a garage roof.

Location
Allocated room overlooking aircon units - a very small room which did not represent value for money

The beds and the staff
It’s old and falling apart / and they are charging for a high end property - there is a absolutely no value for money here -

The view
Everything else, tired old worn out and was fantastic 25 years ago, unfortunately Accor have decided to sweat their assets to the limit and past, the result is a hotel that is sub standard and poor quality and terrible value for money considering the price of over 550 Euros a basic room with no balcony overlooking the trash they have left on the floor below.
The staff are really happy and struggling to keep a brave face on managements refusal to improve revert element of public and private spaces.
The carpets are dirty hired and old, the public spaces worn out, but it begs the question why do such a large group care so little for their clients?

It was beautiful, chic, comfortable, great food and drinks, live entertainment at bar on a Wednesday night! Bed was like a cloud and shower was invigorating. Service impeccable!
I wish the lunch menu would have provided a few more options but what we ordered was delicious! No complaints! It was wonderful.

Absolutely nothing. Maybe only the location and the view.
Horrible place. I cannot call it a "hotel", not to insult real hotels. I wish I could rate it even lower. Everything is old and falling apart. I regret every penny spent on this place and especially for the breakfast. Rude staff that speaks to you in French even when you address them in English.

The breakfast was very good
They provided still water and sparkling every day
The room was spacious and it had balcony
The quality of the towels was excellent
They gave me the last room of the corridor. And the floor was pretty dark, less nice than the other floors
they asked for a 150 USD deposit per day that wasn’t informed before and the. take many days to get it back
The pillows were good, but it could have been better for a 5 stars hotel
