Great views & cosy rooms.
Room was cosy, views were exceptional, beds comfy, water pressure good & an enjoyable continental breakfast we enjoyed in bed a few days running.
Staff were a little inattentive, but not enough to bother us.

Staff very nice, clear and welcoming. The room was pretty and comfortable. The view was beautiful even though it was not the sea. However, we had breakfast outside with the exceptional sea view we were waiting for !

My experience with this hotel was one of the most disappointing I have had in a long time.
I booked a superior room expecting a higher level of comfort, but instead encountered a series of completely unacceptable issues.
First, upon arrival, I faced an extremely unprofessional situation: I had requested a bottle of wine to be placed in the room, but instead of offering options or informing me of the price, the staff simply delivered an already opened bottle costing €54 — without any prior consent or warning. I could not even verify whether the wine matched the value charged. This felt misleading and completely inappropriate for a hotel of this category.
Secondly, I found multiple centipedes in the room — one in the bathroom and two near the bed — within the first hour of my stay, before the balcony door was even opened. This raises serious concerns about the hygiene and overall maintenance of the property.
Thirdly, the payment process was completely mismanaged. Initially, my card was charged via Booking.com before my arrival. Upon check-in I was informed that this charge was only a "standard pre-authorization" and that no actual funds had been withdrawn. The hotel staff required me to pay again in person, insisting that the pre-authorization would be released in a few days. Later, it became clear that the first transaction was NOT a pre-authorization — the hotel had actually charged the amount from my card. As a result, I ended up paying twice for the same stay. To get a refund, I was asked to send my private banking details via email. Despite all assurances, more than 10 days after my stay, I am still waiting for the refund to be processed. This level of disorganization, lack of financial transparency, and disregard for guest security is simply unacceptable.
The overall experience was marked by complete disorganization, poor hygiene, unprofessional behavior, and a blatant disregard for guest rights and comfort.

The hotel was very tired. The room was old and worn. The bathroom was a disgrace. The ceiling was hanging down at the hatch into the Air Con unit. There was no ventilation in the bathroom so there was mould on the ceiling and on bath/shower joints. Sika joints in places completly missing. Towels & bath matt were cheap and threadbare. There was a fridge but there was no coffe/Tea facilities.

The staff working in the hotel. Service and friendly is a great way to act if you work in hotel. Transport with bus HA HA, we walked, three busses did not come.

Lovely solo holiday

I feel the need to comment on the restaurant as well. I was skeptical because of the reviews, but I’m so glad I tried it. Amazing experience, lovely staff I don’t have one negative about my dinner experience. PLEASE try their scallops…delicious:)

We had 4 lovely days at Le Rhul hotel. Fabulous location just south of the city of Marseille.
Loved the view from the hotel room and from the restaurant terrace. The room size was good and very clean. Comfortable bed and decent pillows.

This hotel is a gem. The building itself, the room we had (21) with its view out over the bay and the location! Superb. Breakfast served in the room to eat overlooking the bay... where we swam.
We dined at the restaurant. Felt it was rather expensive for what it is. Food for good but not great. Servings were huge! Wine was not exactly what I had wanted but an inability to speak French almost certainly contributed!

My favourite stay of my two month trip!
Spectacular stay - -I'm a woman in my early 40's travelling alone. This hotel is totally charming, facing the sea and a small natural beach across the street to enter the water. Close to great walking along the water, grocery stores and spectacular restaurants.
The only thing I really disliked was their breakfast - not hot -- just some really soggy fruit salad, yogurt and pre-fab croissants--but this hotel really made up for that with lovely staff, huge rooms with views and spectacular location. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!!

The best part of this room was that it had a Seaview and you could have breakfast on your little patio. Plus we were able to lay on the patio chairs in the afternoon at the hotel
