Overall we were happy with our stay,

The B&B was in a delightful. traditional property, set around a courtyard and lovely garden. There were sunbeds and umbrellas in the garden. It was in a quiet street within the walled city. Our room had a garden view. The breakfast was very good with a good choice of fresh fruit and juice. The eggs were cooked to order.

Our room was rather small and there was no bedside tables, There was a closet with hanging space and plenty of hangers but no drawers to put away small items. The breakfast room was a bit small and dark, and had no natural light.

Beautiful rooms, great stay

I really enjoyed my stay. I was traveling by myself for 3 nights. It was easy to coordinate check-in. All of the staff throughout my stay were so friendly and made me feel right at home. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was modern very functional. Good blackout drapes. Barely any noise from the street and no noise from other rooms. I was a little nervous about having 3 different keys to get into my room, but everything worked perfectly. The courtyard and breakfast were beautiful. It feels like a hotel, just with fewer rooms and reception hours during the day. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, excellent staff. Room wasn’t comfortable due to the broken radiators and flooring was unusual which made

Staff were approachable, friendly and helpful. Location was good. Serena arranged a private driver to take us to the airport when we checked out and this was easy to arrange, good communication and the driver was also very friendly and made the journey back to the airport easy.

Radiator was broken in the room and was leaking. The towel rail was also broken in the bathroom which made the room overall very cold and towels often didn’t dry thoroughly. Staff were aware but unfortunately this was not fixed during our stay. Our room door handle was also faulty which often meant we had to slam the door shut to close it which isn’t ideal as we were conscious of the noise for other guests.

The location of Lucus B&B is pleasingly tranquil by historic Lucca standards''' turn left out of the front door and 50 yds to the cross road there's a quaint family Restaurant , OR by turning right out of the front door and a hundred yards away you're right in the thick of it.. shops, bars restaurants and "history"! As for the staff they could not have been more helpful, more charming and with particular reference to Serena, who was at the property to greet us when we arrived, and who instantly remedied a couple of minor 'room' issues . Breakfast is taken down in the garden area which again is surprisingly sedate given the privileged location. ONLY 1 thing I missed was English speaking BBC world TV and Al Jazeera on the telly!

Lovely elegant property, staff OK, Location OK,

Breakfast had a limited choice of foods available, fried eggs one morning were poorly cooked,

One day my partner wasn't feeling to great we returned mid morning to the B&B, staff knocked on door to clean room I asked if they could return, they never returned beds not made, bins not emptied, on day of our departure, we again were interrupted packing and getting ready to leave at least an hour before our 10.30 am departure time

The hotel and location were great. A bit off the beaten path, so spot was quiet but not too far. Room was beautiful and garden was inviting and a nice respite. The staff, I don't remember her name, was kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was great

Exceptional staffs! Clean room! Great location!

The staffs are exceptional! They are very nice and welcoming. The room was also very clean. It was quiet, but we could hear people eating breakfast as it room was near the breakfast area, but this wasn’t a problem for us. Overall we had a great stay! We only stayed for one night. We regretted not staying more, as we loved Lucca. Would definitely recommend!

We liked everything! But if we are going to comment on something maybe the breakfast could be better. Not much options, but it was still nice breakfast overall.

Very nice boutique hotel which opened in 2019. Excellent accommodation. Room a bit small but OK for short stay. Within town wall with secure parking only 5 minutes walk. Good breakfast. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

Wonderful welcome in Lucca

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. This was centrally located, tranquil and very comfortable. Great care was taken to help us reach the bed and breakfast by organising a taxi for us from the airport. Thank you also for the fabulous gluten free breakfast. Really wonderful choice.

Brilliant short break in Lucca!

Great room which was clean and had everything we needed. Mini fridge in room and was very spacious for the few days we were there. No problems with check in and we left the keys in the room on leaving as the reception wasn't open, as advised. Brilliant location for us, everywhere was within walking distance. We walked to the train station in 20 minutes. Room was cleaned as often as we needed, just put a sign on the door handle. The room was very modern and had everything we needed including a hairdryer and toiletries. Very comfortable bed and plenty of extra cushions which I needed as I am 7 months pregnant! We had the room next to the reception desk and had no issues with privacy and no noise from the desk.
