Perle d'Ambra

Debora was an angel for us. My wife had a knee problem and she had a need of doctor. Debora helped us to call doctors and borrow us wheelchair and medicine to support the pain. Strong recommend! And Debora was an great support and her kindness is outstading.

Such a lovely property, room was lovely and Debra was an amazing host. Lucca is a beautiful town with some of the best restaurants, loads of places to visit and would highly recommend the opera in the church of San Giovanni

Didn’t cause us any issue but it is a little noisy at night and first thing with the Irish bar and cafe downstairs

The location of this property was exceptional, right inside the city walls. Our host was amazing, so kind and met us on arrival, showing us around the property with its lovely communal kitchen available for guest use - hot drinks and snacks were available (and complimentary) at all times! Our bedroom was lovely, very nicely decorated and very spacious. There were earplugs provided in case of street noise but we really didn’t need them. We would definitely recommend this lovely accommodation and will return on our next trip to Lucca!

Nothing - it was all perfect!

Debora is the best part of Perle d'Ambra! She is truly so lovely, kind, and accommodating (she allowed us to check in early and also leave our luggage for a couple hours as we explored the city on our last morning). She made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our short stay, including meeting us on check-in and giving us a map of Lucca with suggestions on what to do. The space is decorated beautifully and our room was perfect for what we needed (including awesome AC!). The kitchen is sizable and well-stocked with coffee, breakfast goodies, and small snacks. It was clear that Deborah had thought a lot about her guests' experience! We would love to come back for longer next time.

The bed was a bit firm for our liking, but we were only there for one night and slept just fine.
