Location! Within the walls, next to the walls, close to the main squares and a cute little breakfast place (caffè Manon Lescaut). Also the host was very helpfull and accomodating.

I felt very welcome from the moment I arrived. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed, which made my stay so easy and comfortable. I also felt very safe throughout my stay. The location is excellent, very convenient and close to everything you need. I would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it!

It was close to central Lucca and they gave us lots of instructions.
The air conditioning only went down a little and pulsed rather than continuing
