Ruhige Lage, blitzsauber und guter Zustand

Für unseren viertägigen Aufenthalt, um die Cinque Terre und das Hinterland von La Spezia zu erkunden, haben wir uns für das Dreams Guest House entschieden – eine ausgezeichnete Wahl. Die Unterkunft ist äußerst sauber und technisch hervorragend gepflegt. Ursprünglich hatten wir ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick gebucht. Bei unserer Ankunft zeigte uns der Gastgeber nicht nur unser gebuchtes Zimmer, sondern auch ein alternatives Zimmer im Erdgeschoss direkt am Pool. Vor Ort entschieden wir uns spontan für dieses Zimmer mit einem gemütlichen Gartensitzplatz – der Wechsel war unkompliziert und wurde problemlos ermöglicht. Parkmöglichkeiten: Eine Reservierung für Parkplätze war im Voraus nicht möglich. Bei unserer Ankunft waren jedoch im abgeschlossenen Innenhof ausreichend Plätze verfügbar, sodass wir gegen eine Gebühr einen sicheren Stellplatz für unser Auto buchen konnten.

Lage & Umgebung: Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig, allerdings etwas abgelegen. Für den Weg zu den Restaurants und ins Zentrum von La Spezia sollte man etwa 25 Minuten Fußweg einplanen. Zwar befindet sich direkt vor dem Haus eine Bushaltestelle, diese wird jedoch nur selten angefahren. Da wir dies bereits im Vorfeld wussten, empfanden wir es nicht als störend.

Ideal für eine Kurzurlaub

Lage: am Berg, gut zu Fuss erreichbar, jedoch vom Zentrum entwas entfernt dafür super Aussicht. Ausstattung: kleines Zimmer abr schön eingerichtete mit Klima & Kühlschrank. Kleine Terrasse war super, mit Tisch und Stühlen und Sichtschutz. Badezimmer: sauber, ausreichend Platz.

Rund um das Guesthouse war es sehr unordentlich und vermüllt, da es angeblich normal ist, den Müll auf den Strassen zu deponieren. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis etwas zu teuer.

Lovely wholesome feel and friendly staff

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The traditional sweet breakfast was an optional extra with our stay - 10/10. The pool and garden felt like a luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle of the town.

We had some access issues as our room was on the lower ground set away from the main eating/pool area - but manageable. You will need to budget for taxis or your own transport to get from the property to the town/sites/ports for day trips etc.

Beautiful room and views.

Lovely room with beautiful scenery (I had the Mountain View). Very modern and clean and the man that showed me around (the owner I think) was really nice. I also had sole use of the terrace which was directly opposite of my room and there is a swimming pool and sun loungers/sitting area just outside the property next door which you can use. It’s about 30mins walk to the main train station with connections to cinque terre which wasn’t too bad.

I did read the reviews about the property being out of the way a bit. It is, I won’t lie and there isn’t much around the area the nearest bar was about 10-15mins walk and the nearest shop that was open about 20-25min walk. It’s quite a steep hill/steps but it’s to be expected given the views! I couldn’t fault the room though had everything I needed, except coffee 😂

This place is a rip off

It's clean. Nothing else

The room is extremely small and the price is exorbitant for what they are offering. The picture on the site don't give the real story. The owner is only interested about making money and not really concern about us having a good stay. He even rented out to us a small parking at 15e/ day. To get to the place you have a very step hill that is quite dangerous to drive in. Avoid this place and rent somewhere else

le “parking gratuit” est en réalité du stationnement dans la rue, au petit bonheur la chance, sauf à payer un supplément pour le parking privé non mentionné. La bouteille de vin promise avec la réservation n’a jamais été offerte. Les bouteilles d’eau fournies à l’arrivée n’ont pas été renouvelées malgré la chaleur. Rapport qualité-prix décevant pour la localisation et la saison.

Very disappointing. Host disinterested.

Didn’t like it. Very expensive for what you get. Booked for a relaxation by the pool and a nice swim after hours of driving, only to be told once we got there and asked where the pool was, that it was not working.

Pool advertised, yet not working. No block out blind on window in the room, therefore we were woken at 6aam by the sun shining in our face.

We liked the B&B, tastefully furnished, wonderful hosts, it was very nice indeed. Has a little garden to sit in, and great views. Easy 1 mile commute to the main train station.

The drive up the winding road can be confusing the first time, and the parking on the street. Didn't always have a parking space close by.

Clean and well maintained. Bedding, showers etc all very good condition. La Spezia and surrounding waterfront towns are well worth a visit. If you have a car can be a useful base to explore.

Extremely small room. You will need a car to get to the location as it’s high up a hill and 30-40 minutes walk to the front. Didn’t use the pool which was on a separate location in the owners garden. We were a late booking but felt very it was extremely overpriced.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and nice but not too big.

Unfortunately the pool wasn't filled with water during our stay. The sweet breakfast for 12€ consists mostly of cake but the view is nice.

It was OK.

Breakfast was not included, but was offered at 18 euros per person, which is in or opinion very expensive. Breakfast needed to be ordered the night before. Was nice to sit out on their terrace in the evening and have a beer, but owner did not always remember to keep cold ones handy. Good water pressure in the bathroom, and nice big towels.

The owner was a little bit gruff and not particularly welcoming. The "garden view" was really a few of the villa next door, about 15 feet away.

Pretty but false room information

The house is located on a hill therefore you have a really wonderful view over the city, port and sea. Very beautiful!! Our room was very clean and the pool (+garden) looked so pretty and also very clean!! There are always free parking lots on the street or on a little parking plateau. This was very good because the parking situation in the city is beyond horrible!! :D

We payed 360€ for 2 nights in a „superior double room with seaview“. Unfortunately the room was really small, it was almost impossible to be together (2 people) at the same time in this room. Also we did not have a sea view!! Neither from our room nor from our balcony - we had a big Terrasse on the roof (which was really nice) but there is the main house right in front of you. You have to bend over the railing to have a side view to the ocean. Not what we expected and what we paid for. That was really sad :-(

Very clean and nice pool

Rather strange vibe form the staff, which made us not feel comfortable/ welcome. We received an extremely warm welcome with a drink, jokes and small talk and the next day when asking for cutlery the host rudely decided she didn’t understand my request. The treatment went from one extreme to the other.
