We loved everything about Villa Liberty — cozy, elegant, peaceful, and truly unforgettable.

We stayed at Villa Liberty for a few days, and it was honestly one of the best places of our entire Italy trip! The atmosphere is magical — peaceful area surrounded by greenery, with beautiful views of Lake Como. The villa itself is stylish, cozy, and thoughtfully designed — it truly feels like home rather than a hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive — they helped us with parking, gave great local tips for dinner, and made sure everything was perfect during our stay. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices — fresh pastries, fruits, and great coffee! A perfect place to relax by Lake Como. We’ll definitely come back!

Nice hotel recently renovated

Lovely hotel recently renovated. Roof terrace was lovely sadly we didn’t get to use it that much due to busy itinerary. Breakfast was plentiful with attentive staff. Parking isn’t feee with a 15€ charge per night. The room balcony was a nice addition with limited views of the lake although stated lake view.

A wonderful two night stay.

We loved the attention to detail in everything, from before our arrival through to our departure. The property was spotless and it was obvious lots of hard work had gone into it. The staff member that welcomed us was so helpful, pleasant and provided us with useful information with regard to the surrounding area. The breakfast was absolutely amazing.

Beautiful, immaculate and a wonderful staff. Huge, private terrace with an amazing view. Breakfast was the best on our 16 day trip. Lots of fruit, cereal, croissants and MADE TO ORDER OMLETTES! Very elegant. Charming, well-kept, quiet...all the good stuff.

The location is a bit of a challenge. Its a 20-25 minute walk into the city center of Como or a 7 or 8 minute walk to the bus line. Not very close to anything,...but WORTH IT! Stock up on drinks, snacks before you go back to room, none are available at hotel or nearby.

a beautiful property with an amazing staff

We visited Villa Liberty on our honeymoon and the property is just wonderful. The room was perfect - lots of space (bedroom and bathroom), super clean - practically spotless, and we had a private terrace with perfect mountain views. Breakfast every morning was great, wide variety and homemade by the manager herself. Everyone was extremely warm and welcoming and made our stay even better! They were especially helpful with transportation (calling taxis, providing bus schedules, etc.) and the property itself is safe and gated. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

The only thing I would say is that it is a little far removed from the main city center, but we mainly got around Como by the bus which was fairly easy once we figured out the right schedules.

just wish the hotel would’ve told us about the bike race and not being able to get a cab. It was a walk to the train st

I like that it was an old Villa.

I didn’t like the fact that they only had breakfast and no other meals. However they were very accommodating and brought us drinks and cappuccinos to the rooftop deck that was beautiful! Staff definitely went above snd beyond.

Characterful, high quality

Beautiful, characterful house with very well decorated grounds. Gym was useful. Security was reassuring. Breakfast was included and good quality with lovely freshly cut fruit. The apartment was spacious for a family of 4 (although open plan between marital room and main room). The facilities were first class, new and of high quality. The kitchenette was functional and included proper espresso coffee and Bialetti percolator! Staff were lovely.

Pricey The sofa-bed was not very supportive for adults/teen children. Parking very limited.

Breakfast was the "weak point" of this booking compared with the rest of the offering. Breakfast was falling short with "dry" scrambled eggs, coffee average, and little variety.

Beautiful property, decor of the highest standard, very clean, fantastic staff - the best you will find anywhere, good breakfast.

located on the corner of a busy road - lots of noise all day/night. Also have to navigate the busy road to walk to the lake.
