A wonderful hotel in beautiful Como

The staff are absolutely this hotels biggest asset. All outstanding from the greetings at the lobby to the breakfast staff and the cleaning staff. The were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is a quirky and old style it’s wonderful and full of character.

A bit disappointing

The staff at the reception was friendly.

The hotel is close to Como Giovanni Station which is convenient. However, the main station which is closer to the attractions should be Como Lago Station. It takes about 20 minutes to go to the pier or Como Lago Station from the hotel. The rooms have been renovated which were nice. However, there was still mould in the shower which made it not very fancy. The breakfast provided was very basic. Obviously the rooms were overpriced.

The perfect hotel for a stay in Como! The friendliest staff, super helpful and kind! We felt immediately at home from the moment we arrived. Could not recommend it more!

only comment is about the plumbing in upstairs room - you could clearly when toilet was flushed, sink emptied etc. Better soundproofing of this would be good.

Quaint and lovely gem in a good location. The staff were excellent and the rooms and clean and roomy. There was an excellent breakfast included. Perfect for our Lake Como stay

Location is convenient for the station, building is charming, quality of room was fine for the price given the location.

A little understaffed at reception during the day as he was also working as the waiter/barman for the terrace.

Hotel is good, beware of limited parking

The hotel is located near the city centre, the room was clean, hotel staff is very friendly and willing to help out with everything-parking included, breakfast OK-nothing special.

Limited parking space (if you are lucky you will park in front or in the parking garage near the hotel), I expected more from breakfast.

Nice location. Breakfast was mediocre - except the lemon cake was delicious! Nice that it was right there in the hotel so we could go right out after. Limited choices though.

Parking was a bit of an issue Good breakfast and friendly front desk staff

Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Neighborhood was a little loud from traffic and neighboring dogs. Location wasn't super close to waterfront. Understanding that hotel policy is that they are not responsible for anything left in room. My wife accidentally left her wedding in the bathroom tray and the cleaning staff didn't turn it in to lost and found. Very disappointing.

No way to get to hotel without walking on auto lanes -- sidewalks were not usable with rolling luggage. Rooms were typically European: small with few amenities included.

Como short stay

Knew this hotel from previous stays and it's still a nice place to stay. Very close to the center of Como or train station Como S. Giovanni.

Nothing to complain about with the hotel. Only parking when you come with your own car. Then you have to use a public parking which is just a short walk. For me that's fine, so not an issue at all

The staff was very helpful. Roberto showed me exactly how to get to the boat dock and the ticket office on the lake. The hotel is very close to the train station which was important to me. The breakfast was excellent. There was a nice variety and everything was good. The room was very comfortable. And the bathroom seemed brand new.

The staff was very courteous and it is located very close to the railway station. The rooms were very neat and clean with all amenities. A private sit out was attached to the room. The breakfast lay out and quality also was very good

Wonderful hotel in Como

A wonderful small hotel in Como. Located on a lovely quiet street with a number of restaurants near by. Short walk into the main centre and ferry to Bellagio. Breakfast and hotel staff were brilliant.
