Was not as advertised. Room extremely small. Website photo shows room as being large not small as it really was. Difficult to drive to and find. No bar as advertised. No luggage assistance in morning. Breakfast was standard.

Very nice hotel centrally located in Como. Very convenient to many restaurants and only a few blocks from the lake and the ferry, ferry ticket office, and the small boat pier. Room was comfortable, air conditioned, with very nice bathroom features. The breakfast had a good selection of choices, some fresh fruit, good coffee. Staff was very friendly and professional. The quick access to the lakefront was greatly appreciated.

Extremely clean and beautiful hotel rooms. Bathrooms and beds were premium quality. Front desk was very helpful and provided excellent tips for local laundry and getting to train station. The best selection of breakfast buffet and special mention to the kitchen staff and chefs - they made excellent made to order omelets and the best coffees! Will visit again! Highly recommended! Upgraded room, larger than most in Como. Easy walk from the train station and the ferry. Air-conditioning was on in April, which was a plus. In room refrigerator and minibar. Plenty of storage and nice bathrooms. Breakfast had a lot of choices including omelets made to order. Great neighborhood.

Our stay at Hotel Plinius was good. The best part was the location; it was so close to the Como Sam Giovanni train station and the City Center. The hotel staff were very nice and welcoming, from the receptionist to the kitchen and dining staff. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. The decor was a bit dated. It needed some updates. The bathroom was functional but there was some rust on the walls. But for the price and location of the hotel, it was worth it.

The hotel was located perfect, I could make stops during the day when I needed a rest. I came back to my room the first day, at 1330, and the room wasn't cleaned yet. But the staff was very nice. The room was small, but still a good size, it didn't feel cramed. The bathroom was a good size. Plus for the fridge. Breakfast was good, had all you want in a breakfast. I would stay here again.

Pictures of room on Expedia was nothing like the room we stayed in. Dirty carpet floors throughout the room with stains. Hotel staff was very rude and not helpful at all. Hotel was in a good area of town with stuff to do around, but only positive thing about our stay.

The hotel is very well located! The room was big and clean. The shower was very old and we had some issues with it. The two guys from the reception should be replaced: the small and almost bald one is very rude and arrogant and the tall one is only eating or talking on his cellphone outside. Both are very lazy and do not help the guests at all.

The room was booked for two people. Therefore by that standard the room was small. We both could hardly open our suitcases together. So this was the downside.There were many upsides to the hotel overall. Mostly location wise - near to the Como Giovanni station. Near to the town centre. Near to good restaurants. Walkable distance to the cable car and ferry point.
