The young men at the business office were perfectly charming and helpful. We loved our stay in this beautiful and unique

Great vibe. Felt like we stepped back in time with the giant wooden doors, cool cobblestone courtyard, lovely room with stone wall but all the modern comforts.

The shower ran out of hot water after the first person showered.

I am expecting a refund as a result of the lack

Good location and a big room.

During a two night stay the heating turned off the first evening and there was no hot water the next morning. I went to the admin office who said they would fix it. The heating resumed in the afternoon but again turned off in the evening (when the admin office was closed). Once again there was no hot water the next morning. This was simply unacceptable.

In the heart of Como

Beautiful rooms with very high ceilings in the centre of Como. Easy walk from the lake and beautiful boutiques.

Due to the age of the building, there’s utility noise ( water and boiler) at night. I’m a light sleeper so the noise woke me up at night. Apart from that, it’s a beautiful place.

Disappointing. Having to wait over 34 hours for a roll of toilet paper was ridiculous! We actuallu

Location was the only positive thing I have to say about the room.

Being told when I requested toilet paper ( there was only one roll in the bathroom) for our 3 day stay. That I can go to the market and buy it. There was no blanket I. The too , our friends had the next room and they gave us one of their blankets. All the linen needs to be replaced or at the very least washed. I would not recommend staying here.

Great room - but not sound proof

Stunning room, the bottle of prosecco was very welcome. Great location.

The booking page specifically says sound proof, which was a big selling point for us, but it is very much not sound proof. Also could install a utility/kitchen sink out the back/where I assume the original front door was considering glasses mugs and cutlery currently need to be washed in the bathroom sink.

Nice stay in Como

I love historical properties! This property was in the old section of Como and easy walking distance to the waterfront and many restaurants and bars and shopping.

I didn’t realize that it is more of an Airbnb type property.

Very good value and safe accommodation.

It was a very economical accommodation option in Como; good location in regards restaurants, cafes, shops and the like. No view from the Motel-like room. Good security and we were comfortable.

Some curtains in the windows above the lounge area would be nice. If someone in a neighbouring place turned on outside lights it woke us up from the brightness. Also I received an unecessary number of reminder of check out and in capital letters way before I finished my stay- it created stress and made the winding down of the stay unpleasant

Pleasant stay in lake como

Great location for lake como close to restaurants and shops and to the sea

The amount we paid for 4 nights wasn’t worth the total value of the room. The room had basic amenities and wasn’t spacious enough. I requested rose petals on the bed and when I arrived it was plastic rose petals which was disappointing

Beautiful historic building in a fantastic location.

We stayed here for 1 night on a whistle stop trip to Lake Como and would highly recommend it. The interior of building is beautiful and it’s really well positioned just a 10 minute walk down to the lake past many bars, shops & restaurants. The area is very clean & safe and has a really good atmosphere. Staff were very helpful with check-in, allowing us to check in a little early as the room was ready, and directing us to the lockbox for the keys. We were also able to leave our bags in reception after check out the next day whilst we continued to explore the area before our flight home. The room was very clean, the beds were comfy and the location was excellent. Highly recommend.

Historical luxury

Location, location,location. Excellent location in old town ro visit Como. Large room with all the comforts needed. Safe and secluded. Bottle of bubbles in fridge a nice touch. History of the place interesting.

No car parking was a challenge. We managed to park in blue area but it was residential at night which we hadn't seen any sign for or reference too when paying 22e a day. We got fine of 30e one night as parking in this area overnight was for residents only. We went to use the bicycles available to us but both were flat a staff member did try to fix them and were very helpful but couldn't so unfortunately we didn't get to use them which was disappointing.

Location good for shops

Not enough clothes space, only a rail, no full length mirror. Bathroom very small considering size of place. Cut out bathroom step unsafe. Had no hot water and water was pouring from boiler.

A beautiful property, extremely safe (grate over door), quiet, very very clean, excellent location!

We loved the location and the charm. Before arrival we received a video tutorial on how to access the property, which was very handy. The courtyard was quiet, safe and peaceful, and right in the heart of Como. The welcome bottle of Prosecco and coffee was appreciated!

We only had a couple of small issues which would have perfected the stay, but we still had a fantastic time. The lamp on the far side of the bed didn’t work. We only had enough toilet roll for one night, a spare roll or two would have been handy. Also, the hot water only lasted for 10 minutes each day, which wasn’t ideal for two sisters! Some more coffee would have been appreciated too haha

Loved it and would stay again in a heartbeat

The location of the rooms is lovely, very central and feels very safe and secure. Como is lovely, plenty of shops and restaurants and we really enjoyed our stay here.

There was quite a high step into the bathroom and my husband has had a knee replacement and is awaiting knee replacement surgery on the other leg now so getting up in the night and making sure he was steady on his feet was a little challenging.

Superb

The apartment was conveniently situated. The size of the room and the indoor terrace was quite large. The bed was really comfortable. On a hot day the apartment was a pleasure to enter as it was much cooler than outside. I recommend this accommodation.

Location was perfect in the center of the Historic Old City. the place offered safety and quiet. the problems I mentione

location was perfect. the courtyard provided privacy and security.

the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. the mattress could not have been more than 2” thick. Entry into the shower and bathroom was up a steep step. while there was dishes there was no place or bin in which to wash them. the heating was erratic, it was switch off at first and then we came home to a night of 25C where we could not lower it.

the location is the best thing about this property

I turned up early which seemed to thrown them off, communication wasn’t great, so there were no keys put out, then they gave me the wrong ones, the shower didn’t drain so flooded the bathroom, I had to mop it up with the few towels that were provided (I asked for more, they didn’t come). it’s an unserviced apartment and they only gave me one roll of toilet paper. the room is internal courtyard facing with little light so feels a bit like a cave. the keys to the front door were really tricky so sometimes took a while to get it.
