Nothing we did not like. The only thing that was a challenge was getting the suitcases down from the room - the staff had put the cases up for us. This is an older property not a new building- so that is fine. Gave me a nice workout!

Beautiful old building with large rooms and incredible, unique breakfast

Our room was large and had a huge bathroom; the degustation breakfast was quite unique

Loved the ambiance of a smaller property. An authentic Italian style. The staff was exceptionally responsive and friendly. Very convenient to walk to shops, restaurants, and the marina for water transportation. I would recommend.

loved the hotel, wonderful! the location was problematic because of our huge car.. and it is a piedtone zone.. parking was a horror due to the fact of football match, so nearly impossible! But the rooms were fabulous, our style, the breakfast outstanding.. gorgeous not too much just beautiful , good food

Charming setting

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff for going above and beyond in returning my dressing gown all the way from Italy—they truly made our stay exceptional. The property is not only beautifully designed but also perfectly located in Como, offering a truly unique and memorable experience.

The property itself has a lot of charm, but we found the rooms—ours was a Superior—to be somewhat underwhelming. We were expecting something more refined and more in keeping with the character of the Palazzo. The 11:00 AM checkout also felt quite rushed, especially considering check-in isn’t until after 3:00 PM, and we weren’t offered any flexibility for an earlier arrival. As for breakfast, while it’s presented as a five-course experience, it felt quite limited. Charging extra for eggs seemed excessive, and being served tiny spoonfuls of yogurt while others dined from low-quality “buffet-style” platters nearby didn’t quite live up to the promise.

Four nights of memorable urban luxury- the Palazzo provides a very special ambience and service

We have stayed in many different types of accommodation in Italy over many years. This was exceptional in so many ways. The website describes it as an urban luxury house. I can only add that it is stylish and elegant without being pretentious. The staff (and the owners)are thoughtful, kind and gracious. Breakfast is a delight with an extensive range of juices, fresh fruit, cheeses, hams, bread and delicious pastries and biscuits. And the selection of drinks and "nibbles" at"Aperitivo" was a great start to eating out at local restaurants. The staff provided a list of recommended restaurants which stood us in good stead. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and regularly refreshed. Throughout the Palazzo there were wonderful evocative fragrances, and interesting collections of traditional and contemporary objects and paintings. The weather was mixed but we were exceedingly comfortable and look forward to returning in sunnier months to enjoy the garden.

Mind-blowing experience - we are definitely coming back!

This was the most amazing hotel we’ve ever been to. Even compared to our experience in Four Seasons - this was very much on par! The hotel is situated right in the heart of Como, making it a max of 10 min walk to any desirable direction around the town. Our room was super cozy and authentic, giving us a real “old money” feeling and experience. The team and their hospitality were out of this world! From the beautiful 6-course breakfast experience to incomparable aperitivo to accommodating any of our requests. Elena and her team took complete care of us. We felt like home.

The breakfast was very good and the service was top notch everyone their remembers your name and is very personable. The location is great, located within walking distance of all the shops and top restaurants. The shower is one of the best i have ever had and the A/C in the rooms is excellent, very comfortable beds.

Exceptional

The breakfast and the service was mind blowing. Hands down the best breakfast we've ever had! You can see the amount of love and effort the staff put in welcoming the guests and individually preparing the different courses for each table! I had booked the hotel based on the pictures of the room but the pictures do not do the rooms justice. The size of the room and the decor far exceeded the expectations. Our spa tub was super relaxing and our beds were incredibly comfy. This was more than what I could have asked for me and my fiance. The 15th century building right in the city center adds depth and character to the already beautiful building. I would love to stay over the next time I visit como.

This place far exceeded our expectations. We can't think of one thing that didn't feel out of place. A memorable experience!
