Central location but unbearable noise of restaurant

Location in Como is great

Impossible to sleep before midnight as the rooms are right atop the restaurant room (with the windows right atop the tables. Not very nice to cross cross the restaurant to make it through the rooms

A good night spent at Lake Como

The staff here at the hotel were really warm and welcoming. They did their best to accommodate to our requests, leaving out luggage and returning later. The hotel itself is located on top of a restaurant, but that was no issue at all given the clear instructions. The room and bathroom are also spacious.

A little on the pricer side but I guess that's how it is in Como these days

Spectacular stay!

Beautiful room! Both room and bathroom are large. Balcony was a great addition! Very clean and very cozy. Free snacks were life-saving as we missed the near shop opening hours. Spectacular location. Staff were super friendly. All information provided. Highly recommend! If ever in Como again, we will definitely re-book!

Loved this room and location.

This place was so cute. The location was fabulous for us, and the staff was SUPER friendly. Our room was very clean and picked up daily. All the extras (coffee, tea, biscuits, fridge, etc) were a great touch to the comfortability of the room. We even had a balcony to enjoy the view. The restaurant below was amazing, we loved the food. We were within walking distance to many things.

Enjoyable stay in the heart of Como.

The hotel consists of a cluster of rooms above a restaurant. We liked the size of the room and were pleased that we had our own courtyard adjacent to it. The bathroom and shower are a decent size for Italian standards. The toiletries provided were a nice touch. The hotel is located in a great location, and is an easy walk to Lake Como, restaurants and shops.

Because the hotel was located above a restaurant, it was very noisy at night. We had a hard time sleeping, even with earplugs. This was the only negative thing.

well positioned Accomadation and very friendly staff

very friendly staff, and quite easy to find the Accomadation an added bonus was the complimentary coffee machine and snack outside the room, this meant that we were able to have breakfast in our room each morning before we went out sightseeing for the day

slight problem with the hot water during our stay - but this was resolved each time we mentioned it, and the boiler was re-set and we had hot water again within 30 minutes

Lovely place to stay. Would return again

Clean and modern in beautiful old building. Handy location. Staff friendly. Great to have a fridge and kettle in room. Lots of little extras such as bottled water, teabags, biscuits, coffee and croissants outside for breakfast and some toiletries.

Ants!!

AVOID - Ant Infestation. Owners do not care. We found ants in the rooms - despite being moved twice. Staff fully aware and saw themselves. ALL rooms were infested. Video evidence. Owners admitted it is a regular occurrence in the restaurant. Room 1: 20+ Room 2: 40+ Room 4: 100+ We ate at the restaurant below which is part of the same, and spent 90 euros deliberately to support the business. We had a restless night killing ants. Staff offered us Prosecco and outright refused to offer any discount upon checkout. No empathy. Th1e younger staff and the cleaner were helpful. The owners made excuses. We are disgusted and dissapointed to be writing this review. We feel we have been unfairly treated and as such, we would not recommend people staying here. The food was fantastic and the cleaner was great. The fault is due to the owners. Skirting boards and door frames were loose allowing ants to enter. Stay elsewhere.

Completely not worth it

It’s in a good location but that’s the only positive feature of this space.

The stay at Rumi Rooms left us with a bitter taste. The place looks nice at the first sight but once you start using the room you realise that everything has been put together without much thought of the guest comfort: the most uncomfortable mattress on a squeaky bed frame keeps you up all night, the air condition unit is louder than an old tractor so unusable while you’re trying to sleep and being just above several restaurants means you can’t sleep with an open window because of the night life noise. The dark shower space has a leaky door so each time you take a shower you end up with a water puddle on the floor of the bathroom. The whole thing looks like a makeshift space put together in a great rush using the cheapest materials. It’s so not worth the price they are charging!

Short and perfect stay

The host was incredible, super friendly. We arrived early and she let us store our bags. The room was not ready at that moment, but she showed us the space and explained everything we needed. The room was really nice, spacious and well cleaned. All the staff from the restaurant below/entrance was extremely friendly. The location is perfect, more central is impossible. Its a small place, with a few rooms, but I highly recommend it. Perfect for a short stay.

Great place to stay! Owner was very helpful and location was perfect. Room itself was clean and just what you need! Considering the room is above a restaurant we had absolutely no noise issues, it was great!

Tv doesn’t work, but it didn’t bother us too much as we were only in the room to sleep most of the time.

Perfect location

Very clean. We stayed in rm #3 the AC was amazing! The beds were very comfortable. Clean bathroom. Small mini fridge…water was provided for free which was great. They also have free coffee, tea. Extremely easy to get around. Under our apartment is restaurant so those of you that want to eat right away you don’t have to go far. But outside there’s many restaurants and shops right outside. From train station it’s 10 min walk.

Beautiful area with a very comfortable room

It’s location is ideal. Close to cafes, shops and the lake. Walking distance to the train, but travellers need to know there are stairs to contend with on the approach to the station.

It appeared that the air conditioning was not activated until the room was made available to me. I turned it to 18 degrees to cool the room down and went out. The condensate from the AC drains into a small tub placed on a heating appliance on the wall. I did not notice this until it overflowed and wet my suitcase and some of the contents while I was out. No damage done fortunately. I emptied the collection tub and there were no problems thereafter.

Lovely little B&B

Central location close to the train and ferry termini. Very clean room with excellent shower. Friendly staff.

AC wasn’t great and the unit dripped a lot filling a tub that had been left for that purpose. Luckily it didn’t topple but it was very full!

This is a lovely place to stay and right in the heart of the Como restaurant and shopping precinct. Also only a very short walk to the lake.
