Amazing

We had a wonderful stay. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of everything and ideal for exploring the lake. The host was exceptional. Everything was perfectly clean and well cared for, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Como

The room could do with a long mirror. And the beds were too soft, but that is just a personal opinion.

Isabella was the most incredible host and I very much appreciated her communication throughout our stay. The setting was perfect, just one street off the lake and a close walk to the train station and ferries. Our room was exactly as pictured (3 beds) and very cozy. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfetto, Isabella was always on hand if needed. It was a nice trip traveling for the first time solo parenting!

Having an apartment style with fridge, traditional building, super clean, view.

The beds were a little hard for my taste, but that’s personal preference. Would have been nice to have somewhere to sit rather than a bed.

Pleasant boutique style hotel

Anna and Isabella were very welcoming. We were very well looked after on arrival. They looked after our luggage to allow us to enjoy our day before check in and did the same when we checked out. Their hospitality made the overall experience very pleasant.

Rooms a little on the small size and AC was weak. Luckily we had a small heater fan to keep the room warm overnight. The blankets were thin so it was still a little cold overnight.

Excellent base location to visit Como

The staff was very kind and friendly, and the vibe was good. Common areas are quite small, but pleasantly furnished. There is no kitchen or a breakfast room, but the room was supplied with a selection of teas, coffees and cakes. The location is also close to the lake and in a central area.

A small and clean room in good location. But for good weather conditions.

It’s location is good. Close to many places including the bus stop and restaurants. The coffee shop nearby (Sicilian) is just great, strongly recommended.

1) It was cold and there isn’t central heating in the building. They try to heat the place by clima/air conditioner in each one of the rooms which is never sufficient. We were unable to take a shower because it was too cold. Therefore, we don’t know anything about the bathroom and hot water. 2) The room is clean but small. It can be okay for one night.

Great hotel, into budget, i will come again.

The location is verry convenient, 2 minutes walking to reach the lake and the center where all the restaurants and shoping centers are located. calm neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The space is tight. The hallways not very spacious, bring small luggage. The room was too tiny, but all the necessities where available.

Really good place

Location is prime next to the harbour for the boat, bus stop and close to the funicular The girls at reception are extraordinary! Helpful and extremely nice Rooms are actually very nice (bathroom a bit outdated but functional) It was one of us bday and they took really good care of us which we really appreciated!

Breakfast was a bit further (3 min walking) but was good!

Great location and very welcoming place!

The position was superb. 2 min from the lake, train station, funicular station and a supermarket... everything important was nearby. The staff was very friendly and kind. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were water, coffee, tea and snacks left for us in the room and there was an espresso machine and microwave to use at the reception. It was a small hotel in an old building but that can't be otherwise in old cities like Como. Every detail was cured to make you feel comfortable and that's why I heartly recommend it.

I really recommend this place☺️

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel. Our room was very cozy, and the staff had left some lovely treats for us — cupcakes, water, and candies. The hotel is located right in the heart of Como, which is super convenient. Everything was very clean and charming. The staff were absolutely wonderful — very friendly, helpful, and treated us amazingly well.

The only downside was the breakfast. Breakfast is served in a nearby café, but the choice there is quite limited — you can only have a sandwich or a Caprese salad. It’s not really enough to keep you full. So it’s better not to pay extra for a room with breakfast included and just book one without it.

Staff and hotel make Como worth visiting.

The staff here isabel and Anna wow! Nicest people we met in Como. Como in my opionion is the most disorganised place i have ever been but the hotel is just what you neef after the caos. The staff cant do enough for you. The room was spotless and comfortable best nights sleep we had the whole trip. One night only and treated like we booked a week.

Vacation was saved after problems with initial accomodation.

Our initially booked accommodation was uninhabitable and we had to urgently, in the evening, look for a new accommodation during the summer holiday season (August). We were lucky to find this accommodation and the administrator Isabella was very kind and responsive, she helped us to check-in into the room at a late hour. The hotel is located close to the Ferries' pier, which is convenient for those (us) planning to explore Lake Como by boat. The train station is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel.

Air conditioners can be noisy for those who are used to sleeping in complete silence.

Property is very old. Air conditioning doesn't work ( I understand Italy has regulations but 2 out of 3 rooms were hot and one was fine), no refrigerator, ants in the room, staff not paying attention to the problem, bathrooms not suitable with kids (no hand held showers, only over head). The property doesn't deserve the high price. Stay away

Great location close to train station! It was a super comfortable bed and we loved having a little table to use for dinners!

The staff went above and beyond. From the moment we stepped in, they were friendly and welcoming. They had suggestions of places to go and made sure we were comfortable in our room. The room was lovely and AC worked great! We loved the location as everything is very walkable. The next time we are in lake Como, we will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Location with Isabella’s Warm Welcome

The best aspects of this property are its fantastic location and Isabella’s warm hospitality. It is conveniently close to the Como Lago train station, the boat piers, and the charming town of Como. With numerous nearby restaurants, dining options are easily accessible. Isabella is incredibly kind and ensured our stay was comfortable. She recommended excellent cafes and restaurants, all of which were delightful. If we visit Lake Como again, we would definitely stay here.

Incredibly good hospitality!

Isabella welcomed us at the hotel and she kindly explained were we can go for breakfast and she helped us find a great boat trip provider. The experience was amazing and seamless. They allowed us to leave our staff at the property at checkout so we could enjoy the day. Isabella is an exceptional host with really great vibes! We definitely recommend The convo lake como to whoever want to stay at a great location. Finally our room has a great view and it was spotless clean.

Basically we liked nothing apart from the friendly receptionist….it was absolutely the worst ‘hotel’ We have ever stayed in……the hostels in Ireland would be nicer than this 🤷🏼‍♀️. I never ever give bad reviews because it’s nice to be nice however when you are paying nearly €300 for your room…..it’s only fair.

The location was great. Everything from booking to staying was comfortable and easy. Isabella was a warm, friendly and professional host. The hotel had a very cute kitchen with coffee and tea and milk, which was great. The location is optimal. Very close to the Lago Como Station, close to the ferry ride, and the supermarket for some snacks!
