The hotel location was perfect. The staff were exceptional and the dining experience in the hotel restaurant was excellent.

If I had to find a negative about the hotel it would be that I would like a shower that wasn’t over a bath.

Clean and cozy hotel in great location

Great location, helpful staff, clean rooms with a nice view over the lake! We also enjoyed the food served at the bistro and at breakfast. We visited in December, and can confirm that heating in the rooms worked well.

Amazing views of Lake Como

The hotel is located in the heart of Como. The room was excellent and the view was breathtaking. We had a very complete breakfast with a lot of options, I vastly recommend to include it in your reservation. The staff and installations are superb. We had a lovely time there.

Great hotel in Como

Fantastic location overlooking the lake. Walking distance from the town centre including plenty of bars and restaurants. The breakfast was great. Staff were polite and helpful.

Nice central place to stay and look over the lake

We chose this hotel, as why go to the lake and not have a lake view?! The room had a nice balcony that looks over the square and across the lake. Everything was comfortable. You can literally walk anywhere from here including the train station, ferries, restaurants, bars, etc. There is limited/restricted traffic in front of the hotel, so it is reasonably quiet.

The rooms are quite outdated yet the price is quite high (of course, you are paying for the lake view!).

The breakfast buffet was good. The property location was ideally located and fabulous. The recpetion staff was exceptionally helpful.

The shower enclosure had no safety grip bars, except for the supine tub position. Having bar soap and no wash cloths was archaic. Our rooms had little,or no view, this would have been appreciated, especially with 2 rooms, in off-season. The beds were HORRIBLE, after a day or so all of our group had back pain. The beds were far too hard.

We booked this hotel due to its location by the water. Perfect view and location which is near everything! Pretty big rooms too! Knowing it’s a well-established hotel, we knew it wasn’t new. It’s a bit on the dated side but nonetheless less the bathroom is new which is so important for us. Good deal with breakfast included. It’s a great choice for Como.

Location fabulous, staff very professional and friendly. A very classic hotel, high standards of service, good quality food and our room/lake view was superb. The decor was a bit dated but it was clean and a well run hotel.

Great Value, Perfect Location

Location is fabulous at Barchetta! Right by the Lake, 2 minutes to the ferry station and 5 minutes from Como Lago train station. It is also about 8 minutes from the Funicolare which takes you up the hill to Brunate. Breakfast exceeded my expectations and service everywhere at the Hotel was warm, very helpful and immediate. The room was cosy and comfortable. Overall this was great value; I would go back to stay again.

Love this hotel

Location is amazing right near the ferry. Step out the hotel to an amazing veiw. Macdonald's is right behind it so you can eat at anytime.
