Short stay in Como

Good size property. Excellent kitchen and shower. Nice size balcony and a bonus ice cream shop underneath.

No parking and expensive public facilities.

Good place for short or longer stay.

Everything was good. We had everything we needed for one night stay and actually could have stayed longer also. Big terrace was good. We could see the lake from our place. Steet noise was not disturbing. Food shop and parking garage nearby.

Bed was slightly too hard for my personal taste.

Very good location

The check-in process was easy, and the online support via WhatsApp was quick and helpful. We had a minor issue with our room, and they immediately resolved it and provided the necessary support. There is a 24-hour supermarket close to the apartment, which is helpful if you arrive late and don't want to look for a place to eat.

The air system in the first room was very loud, so we complained and were given a new room. It was better, but still a bit noisy. If you're a light sleeper, it's best to bring earplugs.

Perfect location for lake side apartment. Clean and comfortable with nearby public parking. Staffs are so kind for providing necessary information.

Breakfast is not served and the road bricks to enter the temporary parking for luggage drop are too high for smooth in and out.

Wonderful stay.

Everything is perfect and well planned. It was a wonderful stay. The hotel exceeded my expectations. A perfect bend of comfort and luxury. I will highly recommend this place. The staffs are highly attentive and made us feel like we are at home. The stay was a great stay.

It was a pleasant stay

Easy check-in and greeted on arrival. Our apartment was at the back of the property which was quiet unlike the front with traffic. Comfortable beds, a nice layout with huge balcony. Coffee and tea facilities and toiletries supplied. Hot water all the time for showers and a heated towel rail for towels. Nice and secure.

Sliding shower glass door came off the sliders, dangerous as it wasn’t secured properly. We managed to get the two top rollers back on but not the bottom ones. Reported but unfortunately it wasn’t done during our stay. The shower rail was dirty. Lift buttons didn’t always work. Lighting in the stairs area didn’t automatically come on, we were given instructions on arrival but nothing about lighting and how to switch on. Needs to be included on instructions. Balcony and glass surrounding the area was very dirty. We had to request a quilt and towels for our third guest which was not provided.

We had a wonderful comfortable stay at La Perla by Sedar

The property is located within easy walking distance of Como San Garibaldi train station and the ferry. Nearby is a wonderful supermarket. We had a room at the back of the property that had air conditioning and shutters for keeping the room cool.

Not great for families with small children/luggage

The apartments are beautifully decorated, clean and had everything we needed. The check-in nd checkout procedure was simple, easy and structured. Communication with staff during office hours were also easy and they dis also offer a discount for our inconveniences but I haven't actually seen it reflected on my bank statement

The elevator wasn't working so had to lug all the luggage and buggy up two flights of stairs. When we got to the room it was so warm at 27C - the ircon did start to cool whej we put the card in but kept switching off in the night. The blinds were broken so the room was pretty bright in the morning waking our toddler at 6.30. When we did phone for help, no-one answered the emergency line outside office hours.

Lovely property, but unfortunate problem with the air conditioning.

The location was very close to the ferry and lakeside. The size of the property and cleanliness were very good.

The air conditioning wasn’t working for 5 out of 7 days and made the room very uncomfortable. The staff had advised us of the fault the day before we arrived and that it needed a new part which should have taken a few days, but 5 days was too much.

Frustrating

The door lock was broken and was unable to lock. Nobody would respond to our questions or help after 5pm. We had to leave our door unlocked with all of our belongings in the room when we left the building for dinner. This significantly affected our stay as we did not feel comfortable. I called the emergency phone number multiple times and was unable to reach anyone. I would like a refund as a door lock in a hotel is a basic service that was not provided.

Not perfect, but good enough.

Location is good. Staff was great, very helpful and accommodating. The price was also fantastic for Como Car Week, and the room was well designed.

Room was a bit dirty (floors), shower leaking and ants in the room. Also for three... you almost sleep in an open space, so no privacy between the bedroom and sofa bed (only a division wall, but as the room is full of mirrors you can see everything anyway).

Carolina was wonderful. She helped us so much. She never made us feel like we were bothering her.

The balcony was great. It was wonderful to sit and have coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. The rooftop patio was very nice as well .

There was a slight sewage smell in the apartment when you walked in. Other than that it was wonderful.

We had a very pleasant stay here! Nice room with great facilities, super huge size (stayed in the ground floor room and we got our own patio). The room facilities and amenities were all great. Nice location. Supermarket is only a short walk. Near the main station. Located right at the main street -- easy to get Uber, but surprisingly no unnecessary noise at night. Delicious gelato bar at the entrance.

Couldn't drop our luggage prior to check in time. The staff weren't online until 11 am, so we had to wait until the check in time to drop our luggage (we dragged our big suitcases since 9 am in the morning). Would be nice if there were staff available for contact prior to check in. Also, the water heater were acting up during our second night. We couldn't get shower bcos the water was freezing cold.

The location its just incredible, very close to port station and old town. The rooms are spacious with outdoor space. We rented out 10 rooms for our weeding and it was extremely convenient.

Comfortable stay

The location of the hotel is good, not so far from the Como San Giovanni train station. Just walk around 5 minutes. Receptionist is good and very helpful. Room is perfect with clean and very good facilities. Love to stay La Perla.

Great location and room had the perfect size to fit all. The balcony was great and allowed us to save internal room using it for the stroller.

The drying machine didnt work, so after washing we had to take it to a self service place 1km away.
