Park Hotel Meublé

It was clean and comfortable. Not in the centre (so a bit cheaper) but only a 10-15 min walk from everything. Close to Como San Giovanni station.

The walls are quite thin and the plumbing is noisy so, I knew when next door showered etc. thankfully they didn't decide on a 2am shower!

I only booked for one night but really enjoyed my stay, the room was lovely and had all the amenities I could need. Bathroom was very clean and spacious. Had a lovely balcony too which I didn’t realise I had until the day I checked out. Bed was super comfy and the pillows were great! Staff were very helpful and friendly. I was able to leave my bag at the hotel after check out so I didn’t have to lug it around all day as I had a late flight. They even let me charge my phone when I came to pick my bag up.

Walls were quite thin and there was a bit of banging around from around 6am until about 8ish. You can hear the toilet flush from the next room too.

The idea of staying in Como itself is very appealing, and the hotel’s location is excellent—close to the train station and the ferry pier, and within walking distance of Como city center. It’s an ideal choice if you’re planning to visit different villages such as Bellagio, Varenna, and Menaggio. However, keep in mind that you’ll need to travel by ferry, which can take about 1–2 hours each way.
