Villa Del Papa

We loved the location most of all, it was in between Pisa and Lucca so both cities were easy to get to by car, but in a charming village. The nearby bakery was amazing and served delicious pastries and coffee for breakfast, and freshly cooked pizzas for lunch. We were there in Ferragosto so other businesses were closed but there was a restaurant and tabbachi nearby too. The pool area was lovely and the room was nice, clean and spacious with a big shower in the bathroom. We were welcomed on arrival and had a lovely conversation with the host.

Fabulous pool. Grounds kept immaculate. Beautiful surroundings. Comfortable spotless rooms.The welcome and very helpful hosts. Charming village.

Perfect location and a beautiful relaxing place. Daniela was very welcoming. We were very comfortable and won’t hesitate to return and recommend.

Well maintained. Coffee machine in room was good and there was a good little fridge. Also the room was spotlessly cleaned

Couldn’t access WiFi in my room. Too far from the router - outside was fine. No breakfast or bar, although local facilities were very close. BBQ available but no coals or firelighters or matches - you need to bring everything!! It was VERY expensive but it was July in Tuscany. If I had paid half it would have been great value for money but for what we paid I could have stayed in Monaco for 4 nights!!!
