Made to feel very welcome. Lovely relaxed stay. All the staff were very accommodating.
Little remote. Really need a car as it’s a difficult location to get to and a short drive to most amenities, shops, restaurants. We didn’t have a car and the hotel doesn’t offer evening meal. The local pizza restaurant was closed so we were stuck for food. The owner was extremely helpful however and offered a lift to a local supermarket where we could buy food and drink which was very fortunate. Without this finding food and drink for the evening would have been very difficult.

Perfect location for daily trips to Lucca, Pisa and the coast
Limited choice at breakfast, interior seemed a bit outdated, staff very absent (but this was maybe because it was the last week of the season) and the hot tub that we had with our room was already turned off
