We had a wonderful stay at Lucca in Azzurro. The location was excellent—just a short walk from the city walls and the historic center. The train station was also easy to reach, making day trips to Pisa and Viareggio very convenient. We highly recommend this place to others and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

The room looked good and was clean, the breakfast service had plenty variation and the coffee was fresh made for you on the spot.
Online there are pictures of a jacuzzi/wellness area and they mention having bikes to use to go into the city, these facilities are not clearly mentioned to cost extra. Upon arrival we learned that the wellness costs €18,- extra per person per 1,5 hours and the bike rental is €8,- per half a day... Without the bike it is about a 20 minute walk to the historic city. With those facilities excluded the price for this B&B seems a bit steep, the overall experience therefor was quite underwhelming. The room was clean and had all the required facilities so that was fine. Just the misadvertising took us by surprise.
