It was in a lovely, rustic setting and easy to find. The rooms were very comfortable.
The breakfast was great, served at our table by a member of the team who were very pleasant and extremely helpful. We were given help to book taxis and to locate restaurants.
The whole place had a lovely relaxed feel and suited our needs very well.
The pool was great, one of the reasons I chose this property was for a pool.
There is no lift which may make access difficult for some, although the stairs are easy to negotiate.

A bottle of complimentary water could have been in the fridge.We arrived hot and tired after walking from Lucca.

The location was supposed to be close to Lucca. You could not comfortably walk.
There was a terrible sewer smell in the bathroom. Unbearable.
