Nice stay close to the center

Great sea view with balcony. Large room and bathroom. Parking good. The girl working in health club friendly and very helpful.
Check in not untill 4pm which is quite late and although we arrived about 1pm was told even if room was ready we could not get in untill yhen. Did not like that every part of hotel was separate. Could not put drinks, breakfast, towels (there was a charge in the health club etc on bill as they were all run by different franchisees. Went into bar Saturday night to be informed they were not serving food anywhere in the hotel. Cleaning in restaurant not brilliant chips and other food on the floor at breakfast. Rooms could certainly do with a little TLC.

We were next door to someone who left their dogs in the room whilst they were out. The dogs barked & cried continuously. We had to go to reception at 3am to report this as we could not sleep with the noise. We had also listened to this on our first night but put up with it but on the 2nd night we were concerned.

Some staff were absolutely brilliant others clearly didn't like their job!
Cleaning is poor dirt under pull out sofas and mould on certain parts of the ceiling also the bath wasn't washed out from the last person to stay there !

Abismal
Without a doubt, this was the worst experience of customer service I have ever experienced.
On arrival, we were advised that the suite we had booked was not available, allegedly due to a leak. we were told that we had been moved to their sister hotel, a short walk across the car park. The sister hotel was very obviously not fully open, the lights were off and a makeshift reception had been 'cobbled together' at what appeared to be a bar although the fridges were empty and it had enough dust on the surface to write in! The room offered as a comparable was a very tired looking double room and nothing like the room we had booked. We returned to the Carton and explained that we were not prepared to accept the alternative accommodation was in any way comparable to room what we had paid £178.00 for. In fact rooms were being offered on a booking site for £68.00. Instead of offering a discount equivalent to the rates shown we were offered free car parking as compensation! We requested a refund of the difference between the rate we had paid, and the rate being shown on the booking site for the alternative accommodation, to be told this was not possible without the authorisation of a manager, when we asked to speak with the manager, we were informed they were unavailable until after the weekend. Subsequently we decided not to stay and requested a full refund, only to be told there was no one available with the authority to agree to this and that we would have to wait until after the weekend to get this authorised. As yet, there has been no further contact from the hotel and no reund.

Relaxing and very comfortable.
The room we were given was a bit to far for my husband to walk to.The receptionist Sue I think her name was she didn’t hesitate to find us another room which was closer for him.Breakfast and evening meal was delicious waitress and and waiter were very polite.
