Excellent location. The reception staff were friendly. Good quality ingredients for the cooked breakfast.
The bed was two double beds pushed together. One side of the bed had a dip in it. The toilet flush would sometimes not work and take a long time to turn off. The restaurant area appears dated, chairs etc very worn.

The room was clean and extremely comfortable
The restaurant was chiller than I would expect, and reservations was slow

The breakfast selection was great
They need to advertise that there is a nightclub literally opposite their front door that plays music till 2am. We went for Valentine’s Day as a treat as we don’t get away often and we were kept awake by the really loud music in the club opposite till 230 in the morning … this is not advised when you book so you can request a room away from the front of the hotel at weekends and it should be an option especially if you are paying nearly 200 a night !!!it totally ruined our night away from a busy house with a busy life when you fancy a quiet night away , if I had known theirs was a night club right opposite the hotel I would have spent my 200 a night somewhere else

Very comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and was more than adequate.

The hotel is very central for restaurants, the beach, pier and town. You are also next to the gardens. Parking is available at the hotel and is secure.
The room was large and we had a good view of the sea. The pool, gym and sauna's were all easily assessable from inside the hotel. Not too busy.
The hotel cleanliness was very good.
The air conditioning in the room was good, but you had to keep checking it was still on. It was very quiet, which is good, but did mean that if it had been turned off you may not notice. Hence we had a couple of airless nights. After we started checking it regularly things improved. You cannot open windows in the rooms and there are no air bricks, so it can get stuffy if the air con is off.
Breakfast was mainly very good, but irritating in that the staff did not ensure that spare plates and cutlery were available, so you end up asking. The toaster was very old and the coffee machines also seemed problematic.
We tried to have cocktails from the bar, but we gave up as they didn't have much of the ingredients needed!
We didn't opt to have dinner in the hotel as the reviews we read were poor, and anyway plenty of local restaurants to choose from.

Location was awesome
The food in the restaurant was really poor, this is my only complaint

The location
My requirements despite staying with the property multiple times the Hilton Bournemouth doesn’t live up to its name and prestigious name

We loved the whole hotel. Our party had 7 children who thoroughly enjoyed the pool. All the bedrooms were of a good size. A special mention to Kian Cross in the bar - so incredibly helpful and always a smile.
We can think of nothing that would have been better.

Good location for both seafront and town centre. Staff very efficient and helpful in what were (slightly) trying circumstances.
The hotel had some temporsry heating issues which were being worked on. This was unfortunate as it was a very cold w/e over New Year and temporary heaters were provided to some rooms. Also it was difficult to keep food hot. Obviously these were temporary problems and should not recur. Otherwise everything good.

Human excrement in inside bed. Used fake eyelashes on floor next to bed. Complained and was kept in room. Heating/cooling didn’t work particularly well.

Lovely clean and big room, comfortable large bed, friendly staff
Was a bit cold in general, not sure if there was an issue with the air conditioning, seemed better on the second night.

Have stayed many times. Location great rooms nice.
I am a huge animal lover however very disappointed with dog policy. Saw a dog cock its leg in bar area and urinate on furniture.
Very large dog Christmas Day night off lead in lounge uncontrolled by owner who kept calling it back. Staff on reception did not ask owner to put on lead. Owner laying on settee making calls at top of his voice constantly using F word. Young children in lounge area. Again staff did nothing

Location is perfect. Rooms are a good size and bed very comfy. Breakfast has a wide choice and is good quality.
Car parking is quite expensive for 24 hrs but is next to hotel and secure.

Clean. Convenient for city, beach and nightlife.
The main bar on the 8th floor was closed for a private function. We should have been made aware when booking, that this may have been a possibility. We may have chosen an alternative hotel !

Location and size of room. Bed comfortable.
Room smelt and was musky. The breakfast was terrible, Rick hard sausages and coffee tasted awful. Other people we knew who stayed said the same thing.

Lovely friendless of staff who above and beyond as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary the gave a lovely card with chocolates and two complimentary drinks how thoughtful. Great location with lots of bars and restaurants across the rd.
The only thing they could improve on is that they could provide slippers and dressing gowns in the room especially if using the spar

The room was clean and the hotel location was perfect for the event I eas attending.
It took 50 minutes to initially check in, then the key to the room didn’t work, returned to reception, they gave us another key, went back to the room, still didn’t work, returned back to reception, the receptionist came to the room and found we were correct and the key didn’t work. We were asked to stay on these uncomfortable park benches by the lifts. The receptionist returned saying they could not give us another room, but to stay there, whilst the key was sorted and the manager would come and let us know when the battery in the lock had been fixed. Waited 25 minutes, went back down to reception to be told it was already done…they just left us there without communication. Complained that now it had been 2hrs to get into our room, we had run out of time to go out to eat before the event, we asked for a free meal room service, this was provided via a voucher, and offered a 30% discount in the room. Went to the room, it was nice and comfortable, ordered room service, they sent and incorrect order up, sent it back to get what we ordered, second attempt was correct and welcomed, however by this time we had now missed the first part of the event. Ate, went out had a wonderful time at my very first concert, following morning at 09:30, maintenance arrived to fix the door. We left the hotel and was charged full price, so didn’t receive the 30% reduction as stated or all the inconvenience. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was with the stay, just simply the lack of communication and failing to deliver on the agreements the manager made, certainly made me reconsider ever using the Hilton’s again. This, so far, has been the most frustrating experience whilst staying at a hotel…such a shame.

Central to town and parking was secured
Was not expecting to be charged ÂŁ100 deposit on arrival for services was made aware money is returned after 6 days and credit was taken from car park fee at end of stay from this deposit but other than that knowledge of knowing this before booking would of been helpful

Right in the center of town and lovely decor etc as you enter reception.
Our room only had one tea and coffee each and there were pubic hairs on the toilet seat. We played quite a lot for one night so expected better.

Our room was spacious, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was superb.
All areas of the hotel were clean, tidy and very well presented. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
The queues for breakfast were a little tiresome. There didn't seem to be enough staff clearing tables and getting guests seated quickly. The lady who was greeting and seating people for breakfast was on her own and having to clear some of the tables as well as checking guests in and seating them. I can't remember her name, but she was fantastic having to deal with all of this.

Really modern and clean. Lovely beds. Great spa and pool. Nice staff.
Main lobby lacks atmosphere. At night the bar and lounge are brightly lit and too spacious.

The bar area in the evening was chilled and fairly quiet. Reception staff pleasant and room clean and tidy
No bottle opener in room and would be nice to have a sewing kit provided without having to request one for a Hilton Hotel

Location, nearby parking, spa facilities
The changing rooms in the spa were not regularly monitored during the day so they became flooded from the showers and the floor felt slippery.
The rooms were not cleaned or made up in a timely manner. Twice we had to ask at reception when it hadn’t been done by 6pm
