If you can get a good deal for this hotel it offers excellent value for money. The location is great. In a quiet street near East Beach and the Pier. The swimming pool is smallish but adequate for a relaxing sw2im and is especially quiet first thing in the morning. The staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are a little basic for the full price but overall I was happy. I didn't have breakfast

Although very recently being bought out of Administration, The deteriorating effects of financial constraints, have taken their toll on the Queens.
The one lift was mostly out of order, for my 4 night stay. My toilet didn’t flush, despite me informing reception, (I cleared it with the shower attachment), huge queues at reception, 40 minutes to check in. Plus big security flaws as my keycard opened multiple room doors!
The staff are VERY good. Hopefully a fresh injection of money will get the Queens back together again.

The photos of the room are quite misleading, as they give the impression of a spacious area, whereas in reality, the room is very small with no cupboard or adequate space to store belongings—only a single wall hook was available. The room was not clean upon arrival, and the bathroom door was broken. Additionally, no soap or basic toiletries were provided. The overall facilities do not align with the expectations of a four-star hotel. Furthermore, the staff were unhelpful and lacked courtesy, which significantly impacted the overall experience. Will not recommend this hotel.
