Was in a nice location

The bed was very firm and I woke with a sore back. I did not manage to sleep well at all. The room didn't seem overally clean, nor did the bathroom. The toilet seat was dangerous as very loose. The breakfast was disappointing also as the options were minimal and wasn't what was expected.

Great experience

Easy to find, good parking. Breakfast was limited, but hot and cold options available. Hotel was clean and staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable as a female travelling alone.

No tv remote in the bedroom, although staff were very helpful and did try and find me another, to no avail. Otherwise no complaints whatsoever! 🙂

Good hotel, but check parking costs and don't book breakfast.

The hotel was clean and nice, the staff were friendly and in a good location.

I had to pay £20 for parking even though it said the parking was included, I may have not made the booking if I had known this. Also the breakfast was terrible, not very fresh and limited options. Disappointing from an Ibis. Don't bother booking the breakfast.

Enjoyed the stay

The hotel was nice and the staff were welcoming. The room I booked was big and the bed was comfortable, I had no problem sleeping. The continental breakfast was very nice. My wife and I enjoyed the stay and would book there again.

The only thing that I could possibly grumble about would be the fact that I had to pay £10 for parking in the hotel carpark.

Rooms horrible with chip board on the wall,mish mash of decor. Big gap in the window to outside. Bacon at breakfast tasted like it was cooked in year old oil. It was fairly cheap to stay but would not go again.we went to the Cumberland hotel for dinner which was fabulous

Good Stay.

Warm welcome. We were able to check in early. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable whilst being basic. Location was good for The Old Fire Station nightclub we were attending. Also the beach was a 10 minute walk. Steep climb on our return may be a struggle for those less able. Overall a good stay. Would happily return!

The wooden decor surrounding the tv & bed is the type of wooden board you put up to fill a broken window pane. I’m not sure this is a good look? The shower gel and conditioner bottles were not refilled which was disappointing. An apology was given.

Quiet comfortable stay for a reasonable price.

Budget hotel , reasonably priced. Located within walking distance of station and buses. Quiet location away from traffic Staff very polite and helpful.

As it’s off season there was no food available in the evening. But that’s understandable Breakfast was a bit poor, but as there didn’t seem to be many people booked in , again it was to be expected.

One night stay , comfortable room good location clean and tidy

First bedroom, the bedding hadn't been changed , moved me to another room bit bigger clean BUT NO TOILET BRUSH !

Disappointing.

The croissants. The location.

The badly stained carpets that needed a good hoover. No control over the temperature of the room, even with the windows open I struggled to sleep due to sweating my tits off. Rusty bathroom. Tv that barely worked. The room 'upgrade' that I didn't ask for, which was basically just a made up sofa bed at the bottom of my bed even though I checked in alone. The hotel bar charging £10.20 for a gin and tonic that got served without ice or lemon/lime (I ended up going the offie for a bottle of wine). The shower water pressure being so low that washing your hair would feel like more of a chore than usual. The 1 minute timer on the bathroom light that left you temporarily in the dark when you showered, brushed your teeth or took a dump.

rooms are good for families and good location

breakfast was awful - i stayed 2 years ago and was much better variety and generally just nicer. We didnt have consistent hot water, we did tell the hotel and someone was meant to come and never did. No one changed our towels or emptied our bins.

Looks smart. Parking available but at an extra cost. Curtains.

Too noisy at night. Doors slamming. Banging on upper floor. Noise from the bar. Access room that didn't work for me with impaired mobility but not in a wheelchair. A regular bathroom would have been more accessible and safer for me. Breakfast seriously disappointing.

Great hotel - would recommend.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The room was a good size, clean and had everything we needed. The only let down for us was the breakfast on offer. It’s a continental breakfast only however the choices weren’t comprehensive eg I don’t eat meat, and dairy so the only things I could eat were a waffle, toast and jam. There were milk alternatives for tea and coffee and juices which is great. We would have liked more choice eg boiled eggs, dairy free spread, fruit pots, crumpets. Ideally we would have liked a cooked breakfast however as continental was the only offering we found it was sadly disappointing.

As explained the breakfast. Everything else was excellent.
