One in a million stay!

Upon arrival we were greated by exceptional customer service. They were really accomodating with sorting out parking and an additional room key!!! The stairs were a bit of a climb with cases. but the sights of the sparkling mirrored wall made it easier seeing my smeared reflection of lugging cases up the stairs. The room was very inviting, lovely fresh decor, clean bed linen and very warm and cosey. There was an adequate selection of refreshments on offer along with a freshly descaled kettle and out of date long life milk. The ensuite was exceptionally clean and had obviously seen a lick of paint in recent years, but not fairly recently! The view from the room overlooked an enticing swimming pool if you were a wild water rat. This hotel is very shabby, but not as in shabby chic as chic had not been invented when this hotel last had any money put into it.

All of the above as it's a load of lies. Don't go by the photos at all on booking.com - do a google review search to get the full picture!

Cheap but tacky

Only paid £72 for 2 nights for me and my son. Room was a good temperature

Beds hard. Could feel the springs. Shower had mildew. No blinking light on the smoke alarm, no mattress protector. Very basic all round.

We spent new year night here, we had a lovely stay. It was clean and tidy. Within easy reach of where we needed.

Would have been ideal if not for the heating and lack of hot water in the shower

Only saw one member of staff but he was helpful. Location was good, parking on site is always helpful.

Heating in the room didn’t work, so there was a plug in heater. It was a big room so the plug in heater didn’t do a lot. 2 of the plugs weren’t working so it had to be at one side, which wasn’t great for the opposite side of the room. No hot water in the shower.

Good location for what I needed but a very poor hotel.

Check in was easy but that was because the hotel was mostly empty.

I booked in advance to secure a good price but when I checked again a few days before my stay the rate for the same room had dropped considerably and there was no option for me to rebook or get a fair price. The furniture in the hotel looked like it had been bought for free off facebook market place. It was covered in scratches and very old.

Wipe your feet on the way out.

Filthy bathroom. Rubbish on floor. Lots of hair in bath. Clearly not cleaned. Toilet flush very poor. Neither bedside lamp worked. Asked for a quiet room and was placed at front on main road. Only good thing about this hotel was the location.

The room was lovely and clean. Great location. Just a short walk into Bournmouth town or there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. Plenty of parking. The hotel s quiet. We were very comfortable during our stay.

We went for a rock evening which was fun but the hotel stay definitely was not

The location to the music venue was perfect

Dirty carpets, no heating except a single noisy electric oil filled radiator, smell of damp, mould on the ceiling, a losing family of spiders in the corner of the room, also hanging out with the worlds biggest blue bottle fly who we had to spend ten minutes exterminating. This hotel (hostel) is extremely run down and uses photos from around 20 years ago to showcase itself

Pleasant Stay but a Few Facilities Need Attention

During my stay at the hotel, I encountered a couple of inconveniences. Firstly, the microwave in the guest area was not working, which meant I couldn’t warm up my meal as planned. I would advise that it be repaired or replaced so guests can make full use of the facilities provided. In addition, much as I would have liked to use the shower, it wasn’t working—or perhaps there was no clear instruction on how to operate it—so unfortunately, I couldn’t use it during my stay. Aside from these issues, everything else was pleasant, and I appreciate the hospitality and effort of the hotel staff. With a few improvements, the guest experience could be even better

I didn’t stay after learning about bed bugs and poor hygiene, and was left paying for another hotel.

After seeing a recent review on another platform reporting bed bugs and poor hygiene at the hotel, I no longer felt comfortable staying there. I requested to cancel my booking and receive a refund, but this was unfortunately refused.

Great location for visiting family. Good sized family room. Very helpful friendly welcome from staff. Flexible with the car parking. Big car park plenty of spaces. Secure access at night by key code.

Shower head was loose. No decaf coffee, brown sugar or herbal teas but plenty of tea bags, regular coffee and sugar. No towels on arrival but was easily rectified. Basic facilities but good for the price. Bit of a musty smell in the room. Saying that, would stay again especially in peak season when the pool is up and running.

A bargain

The mattress and the 4 pillows were an absolutely stunning touch, very comfortable . It was a good value for what it was, and i slept like a baby.

The bathroom could do with a bit of tlc, and maybe a shower curtain should be added. Maybe extra. 2 towels could have done for me ,but i like 1 towel for everything.
