Really nice simple hotel experience, owner very friendly and helpful, breakfast freshly prepared and high quality. Room was just fine for our overnight stay

Parking is a bit tight but not really a problem unless you are driving a range rover!

The bed was really comfortable and the pillows of really good quality. Spacious room and bright, good breakfast and nice hotel overall. The location amazing, minutes away from the beach, pier and shops and restaurants.

The toilet seat wasn't spotless, I had to give it a wipe myself. Also, a hand soap would be a great improvement.

staff were all very friendly and helpful location was good if you don't mind a steep hill walk to the beach but the beach is 100% worth it when you get there, the area is quiet which is nice. bathroom was very spacious. and modern.

the cost for the 2 nights in my opinion was massively overpriced, for the hotel, from doing my research recently i have found bigger hotels with lots more facilities available for much less almost £200 difference, that had a big bar area and a pool and also a spa. the Tv in the room kept buffering and you couldn't really get any normal channels other than apps like Netflix and itv x which is great but kept buffering which was a little annoying especially when trying to watch the England game on Saturday, the windows in the room were broken only one opened which was a little bit of a pain especially with the hot weather we actually bought our own fans and thank goodness we did, there was a bar but it was tiny an nobody was ever there and felt a bit awkward ringing the bell asking for a drink, the ceiling in the bar had a big plasterboard filling which i would imagine is due to a leak, the hotel was good but certainly not as big as you would imagine it has only 6 rooms and the interior looks a little tired in fairness. the window sills are cracking also so i would say shop around as the price is high and i think you can get so much more for your money, we arrived earlier than we could check in and immediately the card machine came out before we even see the room which worried me a little, first impressions are important we all needed the toilet and we were allowed to use the toilet in reception which had no top on the systern and looked very old, this immediately had me thinking i hope the rest of it isn't like this, i think to be honest if i had been shown the room first we would probably have stayed elseware for less money but thats just us the staff were lovely and i wish them lots of success but i would advise to look at your pricing.
