Great location to the beach and town centre
Cleanliness very good
Staff friendly and helpful
I thought breakfast was included in the price but it was not. Had to pay separately. The room floor makes squeaky noise when walking. But thats a minor thing.

Brilliant location in waking distance to town. Comfy rooms with ritual products. Tasty breakfast. Clean & tidy throughout
TV in room could've been bigger. Shouldn't pay for on site parking if you are staying in the hotel.

Very friendly welcoming staff. Great location near to the Russell Coates museum. Our room had a fantastic view of the sea. Good range of things for breakfast and great service.

The booking was easy and we found the staff helpful and attentive
The £15 parking per car per night is rather expensive.

A beautiful hotel with an amazing view. Very easy to get to and a stones throw from the Beach and the town centre.

The hotel was well placed for our need within easy walking distance of the theatre.
The staff were most helpful in all areas.
I should have booked directly with the hotel, it would have saved me some money!

Had a fabulous experience, where David on reception and the whole team were so welcoming, helpful, but most importantly happy and friendly.
All the waiting staff were brilliant, couldn’t do more for us, they all worked so hard and all with a smile.

Room not worth the money- and it was impossible to offer something better
Our room was meant to be superior - but absolutely good only in 1990

Loved our sea facing room. It was really spacious and had everything we needed.
Didn’t like the fact we had to pay for parking.

Excellent welcome. Spacious room. Good food.
Breakfast coffee could be better. No where to put a wash bag/make up bag in the bathroom. Complimentary shower cap would be good as there is an overhead shower.
7.0 / 10.0
Room was fine, shower was pretty poor but not the end of the world for a one night stay. Breakfast was good, however I didn't order what I wanted 'Eggs Benedict', as I would have had to pay a surcharge, after paying £17 for breakfast I thought that was a bit steep!
Extra charge for Eggs Benedict after paying for a full english. Shower wasn't powerful enough.

Hotel 🏨 ok. Room fab size. Bathroom decent. Plenty of sockets and usb points. Decent storage. Bar stayed open late (great staff)
Very expensive- nearly £200 a night. Most expensive out of London hotel we’ve stayed in and others are def better value for money
Light in room wouldn’t stop flicking and I suffer from severe migraines and this sort of thing can trigger them
No pen and paper in room
No instructions n how to use phone to call reception. No idea if room service was an option!
Bed very soft
Only one packet of biscuits (two biscuits in packet but to share this packet of biscuits is mean for the price)

The staff and the groundfloor areas. Bar lounge etc.parking free
The room was 3 star NOT 5 star. The door to the room had a faulty lock and very very hard to push open. Aboit to call for help to get out at one stage. Told staff on departure. Room damp, cold. Wardrobe smelled of damp and cold when 1st opened. The electric fire in there was needed to warm the place up BUT the lead was so small I had to stand the fire on top of the desk to reach the plug. Very stained carpets. Very small bathroom. Hard to wash abd turn arround by the sink. Room much smaller than I had exspected and dated small TV and furnishing. The rads. Did warm up in 1 hour or so. I had to use a hotwater bottle to air the bed. Slept in my dressing gown to get warm. I

Situated really well for the beach and Russell Coates museum
VERY noisy room over the kitchen, much banging and crashing until about 11pm at night.
Didn’t like being not able to open a window properly. Large kitchen extract fan was just outside so the little bit we could open resulted in kitchen fumes.
When you’re staying in a hotel by the sea, you expect to be able to open a window; we didn’t need a sea view but did want fresh air!

This is a big sea front hotel, traditional, no glitz or glamour . It is clean and tidy. Breakfast a little old fashioned.
Comfort , it was good, I didnt like the pillows , the room was a little tight, but as I say clean . Perfect for a stroll outside and enough parking

The terrace. Room 220 was very spacious and airy. The parking - especially the parking. Being able to see the sea from the dining room.
The lift was too small.

Location was good. Public areas of the hotel were nice.
The room, for what we paid, was shockingly poor. It felt like we were staying in some rundown room in a motel in the middle of nowhere. There was a very strong smell coming from the room that was described by a member of the staff as “old”. The reception staff were not helpful, they offered a fan and an air freshener that did nothing to mask the smell. Will be back to the lovely Bournemouth another time, but we will be avoiding this hotel like the plague.

Our room view was of side of building fire escape and industrial machinery

The location is really very good and the hotel looks lovely from outside, very tidy and clean. The bed and pillows, blanket and towels were lovely ans the room very clean.
The bar and lounge area lacked any atmosphere and despite being told it was open 24/7, it was closed by 10.30pm Saturday evening - in Early August. Also the bar lady was rather miserable

Everything very old and dusty
Everything is update

The hotel is located on the cliff within easy walk of the beach and the pier. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with the sea view. It is an old fashioned-feeling place that fits the vibe of Bournemouth. A nice place for a few days. We liked the restaurant and the terrace a lot, imagining Tolkien there, along with Steve the sea gull.

Amazing staff - friendly and helpful.
Extra charge for parking, and breakfast, because we had booked through Booking.com, instead of direct. Took the shine off an otherwise lovely hotel.

The minute you arrive at the Miramar Hotel, there is a feeling of warmth, welcoming you in!
Relaxing and friendly staff further confirm and strengthen how it feels. David was brilliant!
The room was spotlessly clean with everything you could want in its place. The bed was so, so comfortable that a good night's sleep was assured.
Every member of staff is genuinely warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, and that made you feel special and at home.
The restaurant is lovely, carefully thought out placing of the tables, with beautiful views across Bournemouth bay.
The food was excellent and the service perfect.
All the public areas were relaxing, nothing out of place and inviting.
Then we discovered the terrace and garden which is a delight!
The Mirimar has somehow retained the high standard for which Bournemouth was renowned for.
In this ever changing world it is wonderful to discover a gem on your doorstep. The Miramar is most certainly that gem!
Our thanks to every member of staff for making our stay perfect. We are looking forward to returning very soon. Very best wishes, Phil and Zoe.
There was nothing we did not like!
