Nice hotel excellent location, great facilities. Second time here. Breakfast had limited options but was sufficient.

As well as being good value for money. The hotel is well located to the beach and town centre. The full English breakfast is also well having! It would have been nice to have a bedside bible like some other places- however as a whole I highly recommend the place.

Good valve for money bed was comfortable. No noise at night. Steam room out of action but swimming pool, gym and sauna all good.

Not helpful at all for disabled people. Started with as soon as we got there wanting an extra £15 per night for parking for blue badge holders which it is for free to park on the street which is closer than their carpark. Also we stayed in the travel Lodge the night before and they charge for parking but blue badge are free. So they gave us 1 hour parking for free to allow us to take our stuff to the top floor which is the 3rd with no assistance just pointed us to the lift. Steam room still out of use, which it seems to have been for sometime. As per Google reviews for the Durley Dean dated more than a month ago with the signage we saw. If they would have this information on their website about not working for this length of time that would have swayed my decision. Rules being broken in swimming areas with kids performing dangerous stunts like 360 degree rotational flips into a 1 meter deep pool and no anti slip tiles and also no supervisor or staff watching just a cctv camera which they watch from the reception to which no one seems to care what happens as not 1 member of staff bothered to come down and stop the stupid activities. Extractor fan in bathroom in our did not work and is absolutely tiny, i couldn't even use it with my disability. Room is not much better either. Really disappointed in the whole lot and wish I stayed at home instead. Upon leaving at check out time the wife and I had all our bags and was waiting for the lift for 10 mins watching it hit every floor multiple times before coming back up to the 3rd. Then there was 1 member of staff inside then said sorry you cant use it as im busy take the stairs. That was the final straw for me. To make the disabled customer walk down 3 flights with luggage is a joke. I told a member of staff on way out and whe tried to say if she had known that I was disabled I wouldn't have been placed on the 3rd floor but this all started when I first walked in there asking if blue badge holders have to pay the parking fees. Lol the dude was sat behide her as well saying nothing 🤣 Avoid this place at all costs travel Lodge half the price triple the room and better service.
