The room was good value for money and clean but the pool was small and annoyingly echoey

The price was good and the room was a good size

The pool is a lot smaller than it looks on the photo’s and it really echoed to the point where you couldn’t hear what was being said.

Overpriced and poor facilities.

Not much.

Sauna was cold. Steam room was not working. No hot water in the room for two out of three days. Asked for extra pillows and was told they would be sent to the room. They never came. Sink was blocked and they had to come three times to unblock it.

Disappointing

Very lovely front of house reception staff 🙌🏻 Breakfast was good

Sauna & steam not working. Duvet was very thin only two pillows called reception & recieved more pillows & thicker duvet. Smaller bed even though it's a Supreme double room. Kettle in room doesn't turn off keeps over boiling very dangerous! Toilet didnt flush away properly hense maybe why there was poo in the toilet on arrival 😳 Room could do with some touch ups showing signs of wear & tear Very small bathroom. Large gap under door. Noisy room next door all night could hear them talking from inside our bathroom shouting in the corridors right outside our door.

Good Value, pleasant staff, but tired decor

The staff were very friendly and helpful, although at times it seemed that were running on a skeleton staff. The lobby and bar area were nicely decorated and gave a regency feel to the Hotel. The Hotel was well placed for walks to town, with the vibrant "Triangle" area about 750 yards away.

The rooms were dated and tired and in need of a bit of TLC. My bath flooded the bathroom floor each time the shower was used, and whilst housekeeping replaced the sodden floor mat each time, there was no move to rectify the underlying issue. Bournemouth town has become a haven for beggars and groups of hooded men after dark, and even as a 16stone, 6ft ex prop forward, I still didn't feel totally safe after dark.

Awful hotel

The breakfast

The pool was tiny and stunk , steam room was broken , rooms and corridors absolutely stunk of cigarettes ! In places the walls and ceilings were falling apart. Booked a double bed and got 2 single beds , the bathroom was so tiny if you were sat on the toilet you couldnt close the door and had no heating they had to bring up an electric fire for us .

Great base for Bournemouth and a huge bonus that they do interconnecting family rooms.

It could do with tlc in areas, little things have been neglected. Screws on bunk beds loose, bolt on door loose and same with bathroom hook. Nothing that ruined stay but would be a quick fix for hotel to do.

The staff seemed moody all the time or like you were being inconvenient by asking things. Food was wrong and the waiter seemed annoyed that I sent it back because it was wrong. No cider on pump due to cleaning. The showers in the spa were cold. Steam room was out of order Sauna took ages to warm up. WiFi was slow and glitching.

As much as the staff was lovely the value of the stay was not worth it at all

Location was good in the aspect of you were close to other places however there was always no spaces to park,hard to drive down and near as so much traffic!, breakfast was lovely and was hot and delicious.

The room was freezing as the temperature remote didn’t work, the cold tap was nearly impossible to turn, wires out the wall, hairdryer nearly caught alight.

Nice, comfortable hotel

Lovely, clean hotel. Very comfortable beds, loved the bath. Staff friendly. Food very nice. Great location for BIC and town centre.

Wee bit disappointed at limited meal menu over the weekend, but it was due to Christmas parties. Saying that, the food offered was delicious, certainly worth the money, and great portions.

Wonderful Family Break

This is a great family oriented hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. It is a short walk into Bournemouth either by main road or along the cliff. Breakfast is good and varied. The swimming pool is a bonus especially for children. We highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when visiting Bournemouth

Helpful reception staff, very clean spacious room, comfy bed, sauna- convenient parking.

Dinner- the potato's did not taste fresh- the same as the last time I stayed here, but otherwise the dinner was very nice.

Rocky start, start great finish

Comfortable, quiet and clean. The second and third night’s room, see negative comments below. The pool was great

we were initially disappointed when after being shown the room type we wanted we were given a smaller room and the bed was uncomfortable. Also on booking we were entitled to an upgrade which we had to ask for on the second day, which was a big improvement.
