Nice hotel had everything we needed

It was a pitty that the restaurant at the hotel was not available. A note at time of reservation or just before arrival would have been helpful. We were looking forward eating at the hotel as it had a good rating.

What did I like ? - Not a lot. Small room, no bathroom, just a hand basin in the entrance corridor, could hardly sit down in the toilet then bang your head on the door getting up. Toilet door wouldn't open more than half because the main door 'closer' prevented that. Lifts were very small 4 normal people max when the weight certificate quoted 8 people. No staircase that I could find - Fire hazzard ?

Largely enjoyable but still getting over the €3.50 for a cup of black tea that I had to make myself in the lobby. Would

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, had to make your own tea at a machine in the lobby, did this one morning, there was no milk, the hotel charged me €3.50 for the privilege. Very unimpressed.

The lifts were extremely slow and a bit clunky. One occasion we waited 5 minutes just to go down and in the end went searching for the stairs to carry our luggage down manually instead of endlessly waiting again.

Such good value for money! Great location with a 10minute walk to the old town. Easy accessible parking and friendly helpful staff! Room clean and all you need and the breakfast buffet was excellent! Definitely stay again.

Good hotel and always friendly staff.

The hotel was being renovated while I was there, so it must be all new now. My room was already looking new and was very nice. The breakfast area also was being renovated so I think it would be unfair to judge by what I had. Overall, I really liked the hotel. Walking distance to the Train Station and supermarkets.

Room could have a few more amenities to make for a comfortable stay - like iron, kettle and small fridge. We were warned early about the renovations at the hotel and it did not affect us too much. I would just recommend that if you have something like renovations at least offer breakfast or complimentary drink. It will go a long way in making guest feel that you considered the inconvenience to them.

Comfortable room within 5 minute walk from the train station

We had a nice, recently renovated room with a massive TV. Toilet and shower were in separate rooms, and the sink was in the bedroom. Different concept which worked really well. Location was quite close to the train station, a bit of a walk to the old city and the lake.

The sign outside the hotel could be bigger, easier to see from a distance. The hotel is ongoing renovations (which was communicated in a message). It didn't affect our stay, but just be aware that there are work projects going on throughout the hotel.

Good value in beautiful Anncey.

The Frontline staff were very helpful caring and friendly. I asked for a quite room and got one at the back of the hotel. No view as such but away from the street noise. The window opened for fresh air! 10 minute walk into the old town. The restaurant provided a good meal in the evening. The hotel is quitet which is important to us.

The hotel was too warm and we. Old not cool the room down enough with the x/c. The opening window was God send! House keeping were a bit hit and miss, however it was clean on our arrival . SOME STADD just didn't replace things like tissues and tea and coffee but others did. No fridge if you require one but you get what you pay for and THIS was doos value in Anncey if you are happy to walk 10 minutes I to the lovely Old Town.
