Nice stay - Secure parking and typical Ibis

Hotel was exactly what we wanted/expected. Good size rooms - plenty of hot water, Good wifi. Beds were ok - not uncomfortable. We booked parking for the motorbike which was easy enough once we had instructions of how to get in and out. Staff were friendly. Waling distance to everything you would want to see in Annecy. Booking has asked me a question about the safety of the area surrounding the hotel - I felt very safe and did not see any issues. I think it's a weird question. Balcony was good size and had comfy chair.

Good basic hotel to use as a base for Annecy

10 minute walk from main train station, 10 minute walk to old town, 20 minute walk to lake. Breakfast had a reasonable choice of cereal, fruit, pastries, meat & cheeses

Rooms were tired and in need of decoration. Safe did not work on the room and 3 of the 4 light bulbs in the bathroom were all out, but these were fixed very efficiently once they were reported. The walk in the day time along the river to the old town and lake was really pretty but during the evening it did not feel as safe to use so we walked through the main streets.

No beauty, but functional!

The absence of aesthetics in ibis hotels is always a challenge, but for an overnight stay in transit, the accommodation meets all the necessary requirements: the room is clean, the bed really comfy, the shower great and the breakfast generous and fresh. What annoyed me was being told after booking that the parking space was limited and subject to a charge (€16). In the end there was no free space in the hotel parking and we parked in the Chevêne parking garage, a 5-minute walk from the hotel: Recommended - ibis covers the cost of parking during the night. Hotel location: approx. 10 min. walk to the old town.

A lovely, central hotel

The facilities were great and comfortable. I liked the well-lit bedroom, the bathroom and the garage with the lift close by and the trolley for the bags. The staff was nice, the hotel is central and close to Annecy centre. The breakfast was also very good and varied.

Nice & convenient

Second time we’ve used this hotel. We can park the motorbike outside off the road. 10-15 min walk to the riverside bars& restaurants. Nice breakfast.

Ideal location (10 min walk from Old Town) and tranquil surroundings

Had a stunning view of the mountains from my balcony and breakfast was good. The location is also ideal because it is a 10 minute walk to Old Town Annecy. It also took me 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to Annecy Central bus station where I caught a Flixbus back to Geneva Switzerland.

There was a constant humming noise from the air vents. It was difficult to sleep with the noise

- room seems renovated but not well maintained (eg stains on sofa, broken lamp in bathroom) > gives a double feeling - only Velux in our room on last floor and these are high > no outside view for me

Very relaxing place, with good vibes

Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, safety underground garage. Walking distance from the center. Very good beach Plage de Menthon, 11 km by car. Two good restaurants we visited: Les Chineurs and Le Freti.

A handy and comfortable hotel with kind staff in a beautiful city.

Really helpful and friendly lady on reception. Very good location, near the centre. Comfy bed. The breakfast was FABULOUS. Late checkout was very handy.

The car park was a bit of a nightmare. I know it’s small but how about painting it white and putting some lights up. I suppose we were grateful there was one though.

Decent Ibis hotel

Decent Ibis hotel, close to the city center. Rooms were comfy, just what you would expect from this chain. Car parking was in a close by garage.

Great location

The room was fairly large, clean.and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was substantial and you can make hot drinks at any time in the breakfast area. The hotel is a leisurely 10 min walk from the train and bus stations. You can walk along the river into town.

There was no kettle in the room so you had to go downstairs to make a hot drink. On the first night there was a light over the air conditioning unit which lit up the room. Oddly this seemed to go off on its own.
