Hôtel La Cour du 6

Located by a canal with very good restaurants the hotel is within easy walking distance of the train and the lake. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were beautiful and very quiet.

The elevator was out of commission only for a short period.

Location and cleanliness . Breakfast was good

No stand out issues .

Breakfast has not a great variety but everything was of high quality. French croissants were delicious. Breakfast room is also a nice restaurant preferred by many non hotel guests. Rooms are quiet even these next to the elevator. Bathroom is spacious and, yes has hooks for your towels just outside the shower cabin (most hotels don’t have). Daily complimentary still water. Water from bathroom’s tab is drinkable.

Lack of slippers in the room. Lack of safety box. Lack of a small fridge to drink cold water. Closet is huge with a lot of space to hang your clothes but only a shelf a bit high and no drawers. The first time we had breakfast, there was plenty of quality smoked salmon. The next two days… disappeared. Due to early departure, our last breakfast was at opening time (7am). Scrambled eggs were cold although on fire (I guess left or been cooked the previous day and then put in the fridge till the next morning).

Hotel central et très agréables. Belles chambres. Pas très grandes mais très fonctionnelles. Idem pour la salle de bain.
