Lovely hotel in a great location, welcoming staff

Breakfast was very nice but quite expensive considering only a small amount of cooked items were available. The room was excellent. It was great to have a separate level from our teens but they were still in the same room. The staff were really good, very helpful and answered all queries quickly and efficiently

The only thing really was that the breakfast seemed overpriced

Great stay in beautiful town on return journey from the Alps

Smart hotel with great staff service in a very good location - Booked underground parking which was very convenient.

Restaurant dinner food was trying a bit too hard to be top end. Expensive with some odd combinations.

Excellent location. Nice view from the room.

Staff were pretty mediocre in their welcome at reception and the information given. Staff in the restaurant for breakfast were more noticeable by their absence and interest in their colleagues. Not rude but more disinterested. Uncomfortable bedding.

Great stay next to the lake .

Great position and parking. Very friendly helpful staff. Beautiful breakfast and restaurant. Good linen , lovely towels, comfy bed and great shower. Perfect hotel next to the lake and easy walk into beautiful Annecy.

Stylish stay with amazing lake views

Hotel is very stylish and modern, with excellent facilities and amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the views over Lake Annecy were stunning. The location is perfect — very close to the city center, making it easy to explore on foot. A great choice for a comfortable and elegant stay.

Excellent location, short walk from Annecy old town. Modern facilities, great restaurant and exceptional staff. I reviewed many properties before deciding to go with Le Pélican. It did not disappoint in any category.

Beautiful hotel on the lake in Annecy, France

We stayed in a lovely room on the top floor. It was luxurious and quiet. The lighting in the room was fabulous - different forms of lighting many places in the room. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was sumptuous! We would happily stay here again.

Overall excellent, clean, modern and very good value

Attractively decorated spacious room with nice light fittings and bed linen. Modern very clean bathroom with walk-in shower and good quality white towels. Comfortable bed and adequate coffee and tea making facilities. Enjoyable dinner in the restaurant. Great menu choices and good friendly service.

Show pressure from overhead amazon shower head was too weak. A smaller overhead fitting would be much better. Breakfast service from lobby coffee shop was very poor, but apparently due to new, but clearly undertrained, staff. Coffee and food were good but slow and chaotic service. The head baker had to step in to serve us. Thanks to him.

Modern hotel in a great position for the lake and old town.

Spacious and well equipped room with views over the town and lake. Comfortable bed. The staff were all efficient, polite and friendly. Good choice for breakfast.

In the room, the bathroom door didn’t close properly and teaspoons rather than sticks would have made tea easier to deal with. The hot drinks machines let down the breakfast a bit - long queues at times and the water wasn’t hot enough for tea.

The location was excellent, with easy access to the lake and old town. Staff were very professional and helpful throughout. Rooms were particularly well appointed. Breakfast was to a very high standard.

the room is good enough, for 4 star hotel no one willing to help solo traveler for luggage is bad.

when i check in the receptionist told us no one will help for the luggage, but I was struggle with luggage and they saw that didn't even care with 2 of receptionist stand there. and cleaning people are nice, saw me and help

Nice place shame about how it's managed.

Ok hotel, room and reception staff ok, however restaurant and bar staff are so busy, being busy that they've forgotten it's not all about them. They ignore the needs of their customers and rush around them making it an uncomfortable place for guests. They also don't provide drinks around the pool which would make the tilled and concrete area (not a bit of green in the area) far more pleasant. Breakfast food quality is very average. They have a nice outside bar for evenings but the service is almost non existent.

Managment needs to train staff to realize it's about the guest experience not just running around being busy... busy while ignoring guest needs.

A lovely stay

The hotel is in a good location within easy walking distance of Lake Annecy and the Old Town. We were given a room with a mezzanine and a lake view which was perfect for us . Clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly & helpful . Great breakfast and lovely to have use of the Pool too . I would happily stay at Le Pelican again !

Decent hotel, but could be better for the money. If you can't tolerate dogs avoid.

Great location, nice pool (outdoor), room was modern and decent size, although electric curtains didn't work.

It's VERY dog friendly to the point where guests had their dogs in the restaurant and were feeding them from the table. I asked to be moved but was told the other tables were booked but nobody showed up the whole time, so basically because we had our 2 kids, we felt we were dumped in the kids and dog section. Service was average to teh point I didn't tip which is very rare for me. They have very few parking spaces so if you want want one then make sure you let them know in advance. Luckily the lady on reception was very accommodating and found us a space when they saw our car was loaded to the roof with skiing kit so we needed a secure space. Without that we would have been on a public pay meter I guess.

Great location. Comfortable and spacious hotel. Amazing breakfast with many options (especially the fresh bread!!). We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant twice and it was always delicious. Room was clean.

In the room there could have been normal cups for tea/coffee, not only paper cups.

Lake View Magic

Hotel was in a great location right on the Lake Annecy and very close to the old town, the room had great views of the lake, and was a duplex amazing for a family of 4 the kids loved the mezzanine floor of the room's beds was almost like a little hide away for them, big enough for adults too with an extra toilet which was great. the room was very comfortable and modern.

Only had one F&B location and no proper bar area for evening drinks, and little choice, the couch area of the restaurant and the terrace were a little uncomfortable if used for drinks and chilling they were more like a waiting area. But the staff were very nice and helpful.
