The location, the staff's friendliness, the breakfast brought to the room in a timely manner
The size of the room (smaller than expected), a hot tub was depicted in the pictures but was not the one in the room, the room service options (too little options), the car park to pay

Looks like a chocolate box
Tv broken, build up of hair in shower meant it was blocked, staff were not very friendly when we checked in. Not good enough for a four star hotel

We stayed in one of the villas and absolutely loved it. The Christmas tree was a very nice touch. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was also very helpful when we needed a couple of extra things. The villa was very well stocked with coffee and a variety of kitchen equipment. We're already planning our next visit, as the villa is a great mix of amenities of a hotel, while having the space of a rental property. It was great for a group of 8 adults.
The only thing to note is that for two nights there was a €3,500 deposit required (guaranteed on a credit card). We found this to be extremely high. It would be good to notify the guest of this before arrival, as it is exceptionally high for European hotels.

Not much
Over priced, unclean rooms which were dusty, tired rooms and hallways. They charged for everything...even to use basic spa facilities there was a charge. Breakfast was over priced for what it was. Their limited breakfast was EUR25 vs EUR33 at The Palace Hotel restaurant.
It is very overpriced for what it is.

Incredible property, with breath taking views and lovely staff that supported us during our stay!
Nothing to comment.

The stunning location, the bar, the spa. The views! The flexibility!
Nothing.

The hotel is in a quiet location away from the centre. It has a wonderful view over the lake. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Luis on reception was very professional and helpful. There was plenty of available free parking on the road just outside the hotel at this time of year. Our room was small and rather dark. The shower worked well and the bed was comfortable.
Unfortunately the wonderful dining room with stunning views is not used when the hotel is less busy. Guests are not even allowed in there when it's a rainy day and the outside terrace cannot be used. The small guest lounge nearby is very dark.
The spa pool is small and it's €20 per hour.
We thought of staying for breakfast, even though €25 seemed very expensive, but the rude behaviour of one waitress meant we went elsewhere.

The view of Lake Annecy from the resort is truly breathtaking. The resort has an amazing restaurant where the service is outstanding. We even met someone from Mauritius (our home country :)) and he was just great!
Truly wish the room was a tad wider. :)

Ahead of our visit, we contacted the hotel about a dietary need (lactose intolerance). The responses we received were essentially that they would do nothing to help, e.g. they were not willing to get some soya yogurt.
On another matter, we had to email the reception 4 times over the course of 2 weeks before we got a reply.
Extremely poor customer service.

Using it as an overnight stop on a long drive.
Fantastic room in the roof area overlooking the lake was. Great way to wake up.
Food was fantastic.
Staff were lovely.
Having to pay for parking in the hotel car park when staying there seemed a little rich as no where else to park your car.

Location, view, styling
Ants in our room, but the staff had placed ant boxes by the door, so they didn’t actually come into the room, only along the door

Huge Bedroom, outdoor pool, fantastic location, amazing views, friendly service
shouldn't have to pay 20 euros per hour for the Spa when staying at the hotel.
Lack of choice for lunch menu

The room overlooking the pool and the lake was great and the large terrasse was also great. Superbe view ! Very calm area yet walking distance into the old town.
We were very dispappointed by the spa area, being used to very confortable spas in Belgium. We only went once whereas we had intended to go every day. Very small sauna with no cold shower or cold bassin upon exit. Changing rooms and showers are very small. The fat boys are not comfortabe at all. But the view on the lake was great.

We were lucky to get a massive upgrade to a beautiful room with a terrace and a big bathroom on the lake side!!!!! So nice. Gorgeous views of the lake. Also the room had aircon easy to use and was so quiet. The staff were soooo lovely every single one. The food was nice too. Nice inside decor for the whole hotel.
I didn’t like the spa it had a rickety ladder into the inside pool, the outside pool was still covered. The floor was extremely slippery and I found getting off the day beds so hard my daughter had to help. It was a very small spa but were charging 20euros per person per hour including for children. It’s a shame because the hotel was amazing. The staff were lovely though and went out of their way to accommodate our needs.

The facility
The staff are unprofessional and they are dealing with guests without respect and in a rude way. They took very big amount of money as a deposit almost double the amount of my whole rent, also they tried to charge me extra money when I checked out by adding cleaning fees and cost of repair of the kitchen sink which was blocked before we move the villa. By the way, the deposit money was not mentioned originally when I made the booking.
I Don't recommend this hotel at all.

The fact the cleaners came to your room every day. They were the only good thing about the hotel. They did a fantastic job.
Paid €912 for 4 nights for 2. Breakfast not included (no problems with that as I knew before hand) but was charged €1500 when I arrived. Was told it was a deposit. Yes I did get it back 4 days after I arrived home. Was not told that in advance and needed that money for my holiday. The hotel to be fair had the room ready for us before the 4pm slot however on arrival we were hungry as up at 3am for a 6am flight. Was told we couldn't eat unless we booked in advance. We then asked for a drink and waited 15 to 20 minutes for one. Had to ask 3 different people. Was also told the hotel is a 15 minute walk into the town, it's a 30-35 minute walk. Through a forest all up hill in the dark on the way back. Plus there is an electric fence on that walkway that we certainly didn't know until a dog went mad because he touched it. His owner told us. Because the hotel was so far away we had to get up in the morning, walk into town and stay for the whole day so we wudnt have to do it 4 times only twice a day. We were exhausted. I asked about a taxi and the hotel could supply one for €25 each time you went in or out of the town. We never ate in the hotel. We hated being there. No atmosphere. Even having a drink at night was shocking. No one in the bar at all. And if u had a shower after it was wet, it was very slippy. (shower was in the bath) I nearly slipped getting out and my son did slip. He fell right out onto the floor on his backside. I could go on and on about how horrible a hotel it is. U have to experience it to understand. My advice is don't. I absolutely loved annecy and will definitely visit again but not at this hotel. The best part is the day you walk out the door to leave.

Not really near the lake or the town: photo on booking.com is a bit misleading; in the middle of renovations and Wi-Fi didn’t work on first day; no menu in restaurant; fish only.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are nice and clean. Amazing view!
The restaurants are amazing, every meal was perfect, I would definitely want to stay there and eat there again.
I expected more from the Spa. It costs extra - which was already a bad surprise, as I expected this to be included in the price of the stay. Adding to that, the Sauna was only at 70 degrees which is very cold for a regular Sauna, and there was not a lot to do in the spa itself.
