The location was good and the view of the lake from the room was great.

The privilege room that we booked was a let down as it was far smaller than what we expected as seen in photographs. The Michelin star restaurant food was average, especially when compared to our experience at other such restaurant’s.

The hotel is very nicely situated in the mountain of Annecy. The view across the lake is beautiful. Enough room around the pool to relax and sit. Personnel is also friendly and helpfull. Good place to store the bikes and clean facilities.

Price / Quality is not in balance. The room prices are already quite steep but to be expected for the location. The rooms are however very small and also dark if you happen to get a forest side room. We changed throughout the stay from a suite to a standard room and they assigned a non lake (forest) room which was small dark and too cold (could not get the temp up). Switching rooms was very chaotic. They promised to transfer our bags during our cycling ride but returned with the room not ready (3 o clock). After waiting until 4.30 the room was ready (had to ask) but the bags were still in the other room. Had to ask twice after this to get these into the new room. Bags were still in the old suite (which was not used apparently). They could have made us an offer to use the old suite or at least offer a drink to compensate the wait. Another disappointment and my main point are the outrages prices of consumption's. Never did I see a coffee of 7 euro! (or 9 for a beer) Also parking is payed (24 euro for a day) - also not very nice for a hotel where everybody visits per car. Don't understand why the owners want to take so much extra money of their paying customers for this; not a nice experience due to this. Better they half the prices and you end up taking two drinks with a respected feeling. Also breakfast is too expensive for the things you get (every day the same). Also did not use the spa due to the prices (> 120 euro) Lot of room for improvement in my opinion.
