Short stay in Annecy

The hosts were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall the stay met expectations for a 2-star hotel.

The bathroom was small, with limited space in front of the toilet, which can be uncomfortable, especially for taller people.

The staff at reception were cheerful and thoughtful. The room was small but very clean and updated. It felt like my little jewel in the town. The hotel in close to the train station too. They will hold your luggage for you if you arrive early.

I liked everything about the property but I travel light so I only had a small carry-on and a large purse to take up the tiny (but working!) elevator. Be forewarned too that the shower (mine at least in my single) was tiny but it was very clean and modern and perfectly efficient.

Comfortable and satisfied

Excellent location, walking distance to old town and lake Annecy. The facility is clean and cozy. The front staffs are very helpful. I have forgotten my jacket in a restaurant and Madam Lieve went out her way to help me to resolve the issue. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is going to Annecy!

Nice hotel centrally located

This cute boutique hotel was in a great location in Annecy, France. It was walkable from the train station. The room and bathroom were very nice and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast for an extra fee every morning. The waterways and lake was close by too. The staff were very nice.

A good budget hotel with very helpful staff.

Very good continental breakfast with good coffee. Good selection & good quality. Comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom & toiletries. Good hairdryer. Excellent location for exploring Annecy.

Nice but small hotel, unfortunately very outdated and powerfully invasive wifi policy

Friendly front desk staff and a great location.

The hotel provided WIFI service is antiquated and invasive, it has locked us out of any other wifi capability! We had to log on to a web site to get service, and since then neither my partner or I can log onto another router, even our home router. There is a virus or something that 'locks' the device to the hotel router, and we can't get it removed or changed. In today's environment, there is simply NO REASON, to have to log on to a web site for wifi or internet access, that is a very outdated way of getting online and completely invasive and unnecessary! And it exposes the users to a multitude of potential risks. Because of this hotel policy of website acceptance for internet access, we now have to pay to have your software removed from three devices since we 'agreed' to the service. We didn't agree to having programs write to our devices or download software for isolating your web site and router as the sole access to the internet for us.

Lovely stay and would use it again

Location was excellent and the staff were the best we have experienced after 1 month traveling in France. The car park was also very good value, secure and close to the hotel.

A pleasant stay by a solo traveller in a traditional French hotel in the downtown core.

The hotel is right at the edge of the pedestrian zone, a great location for shopping, dinner, & walks. The 24-7 concierges are very helpful and friendly/welcoming. The AC (air exchanger) was a treat.

The WiFi is very weak and unreliable, e.g., had to Hotspot to check-in to my next flight. Barely one bar of internet in the room, if you hold your phone at various angles.

Restful

Located less than 10mn by foot from train station, old town and lake, made it very easy to explore the beautiful city. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Room was spacious, with AC and nice commodities.

Still warm even with AC but bareable. A little expensive for 2 stars but still a bargain compared to others in the area.

The place to sleep in Annecy

Staff was extremely nice and welcoming, taking the time to take out a map and show us what was around. The hôtel is perfectly centered, really close to the train station and the old city center but also remote enough from the busy area. Room was spotless, mattress comfortable, on the small side by American standards but with an AC which was a big plus for us during warm summer weather. You can also choose to get the optional breakfast for 11 euros which was simple but with enough choice and with fresh bread and croissant straight from the bakery!

Ideal location for a short stay on a tight budget or as a first time visit to a 2 star facility.

Hotel very central for most important parts of Annecy, old town, lake and port plus rail station and bus station. Hotel is ideal for a short stay not any longer than a few days rooms are neat and tidy with on suite facilities, Towels are or can be changed every day. Rooms have air/con which was needed in our case with higher than normal external temperatures. Breakfast is available French style at a reasonable price as an extra if required. Found the price for the accommodation reasonable for what was provided after all it is a 2 star Hotel.

Rooms and facilities are small and in our case facing onto a main thoroughfare with double doors and and a Juliet balcony. As Hotel is in the center of the town our room was overlooked by properties across the street which some might find off putting.

Great locatiin in a lovely town.

Helpful staff. After taking elevator up to the floor, I still had to negotiate several steps up and diwn to get to the room. Toilet area was small. Nice shower, comfortable bed and great location between train station and old town.

During thursday's nights, youg people in the street like to shout and make noise even with closed windows. However it is not a surprise.

Would definitely visit Annency again. Such a charming, beautiful place.

The location was perfect being 5 minutes from the centre of the town and the air conditioning in the room.

We found that the mattress was too soft, the bathroom was a little small and there was no facilities to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room.

it was only a 5 minute walk from the train/bus station and 5 minute walk to get to the old town where all the attractions are! very handy location. there was also always someone at the reception and on arrival, the staff gave us a map of annecy and recommended places to visit and restaurants to eat at! the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable and they provided me with a kettle upon request. our room had a tv and a desk and a little closet to hang up our clothes. the room was slightly small but it didn’t bother us at all!
