Great aparthotel in an excellent location

A comfortable large room with a handy kitchenette. A good outlook across the park at the back. Excellent location for arrival from the station and access to town. We went to a gig at the Corn exchange, a 9 minute walk away. The staff were friendly and Phil was very helpful on arrival. The breakfast was plentiful and coffee was available all day. Great.

A tad warm in the room, even after I tried to turn the radiators down. The bedside table lights were a bare bulb style. A bit harsh but trendy.

Excellent base for exploring Cambridge.

The flat at The Regent Aparthotel was clean, modern and conveniently situated. We were able to walk to and from the train station, to various museums and the Botanical Gardens. We also walked to the market, the river and various famous old colleges. We had a balcony over looking the park, Parkers Piece. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a fridge, microwave/oven, and coffee machine as well as a toaster and kettle. There was a kitchen sink and crockery and utensils were provided. There was a table and comfortable chairs. The bathroom was clean and modern. Breakfast was a well stocked continental buffet. The place was ideal for museums and exploring central Cambridge.

A good, clean option in central Cambridge but don’t expect luxury!

Great location, lovely and helpful staff at reception. Fairly clean and well equipped room. Nice continental breakfast although simple kept up very well stocked and tidy by the staff. Check in/out was easy and quick

Pretty noisy, can hear pipes/water running in the walls, doors slamming throughout the night etc. good luck if you have noisy upstairs neighbours as you’ll hear everything. Quite hot and stuffy in the room even in mid Feb and the air conditioning could only blast hot air making it worse

Perfect room, lovely people

The charming chap on reception couldn't have been more helpful. The room ("Loft") on the top floor was perfect - big, comfortable, just perfect, and the view from the balcony was lovely. Brilliant value for money, and for anyone arriving by train, as we did, the position is fantastic - 15 minutes walk from the station, and perfectly situated for exploring the centre of Cambridge. The only criticism I could make - and this is really nitpicking - is that they picked the wrong coffee machines for the rooms. (You can't beat the Nespresso-compatible machines with the old-school pods, with a choice of expresso or lungo capsules. My wife's Italian - she needs a good espresso within 5 minutes of waking up.) Highly recommended. We will return.

Excellent clean modern place to stay

The room was really clean and modern with a.huge bathroom and very comfy beds. The corridors and stairs had plush carpet which made it feel quite luxurious ! Staff were attentive and very happy to help. Breakfast was continental , which was fine , but some fresh sourdough would have been a nice touch ! Location was good, by the side of Parkers Piece . The cheapest car park Queen Annes, was about 7 min walk and £21 a day , which for Cambridge is very good. Its free overnite after 6.30pm , and on sundays you can park on the street in the road behind the hotel alongside the park.

Great micro-apartment hotel, perfectly located and appointment for business or pleasure

Great beds, facilities and staff. The location is impeccable with all the essentials close-by and well-connected for the whole city. Soundproofing between the rooms and great doubled glazing, so practically no sound from the street and near black-out blinds. The kitchenettes are small but mightily appointed. Super clean and the housekeeping and front of house staff are impeccable.

The room was well stocked with kitchenware and thoughtful bits and bobs. The location is absolutely excellent too.

It’s very central with the Christmas market quite literally at its back garden. The street is filled with delicious restaurants and it’s only a few minutes walk from central. The staff were exceptionally kind and there was a free breakfast as well!

Impressed comfortable everything you would need.

Arrival at the Regent,greeted us with polite and friendly manner, room was ready and was told anything needed required to just let them know, . After hours entrance explained well. Breakfast well balanced and enjoyed freedom of choice

A good quiet stay, although the hotel has been left to look and feel very tired

The reception staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good, a good choice of continental & cereals etc. An Excellent location in the centre, nice quiet hotel, although doors banging are very loud. The room - a reasonable size, a little tired and dark, as the kitchenette is blocking a window with shutters, therefore you cannot even open the shutters.

The room - the floor was covered in bits, so when walking around with no shoes, felt dirty, the kitchenette is blocking a window with shutters, therefore you cannot even open the shutters. The bathroom towels are frayed and discoloured. There is no room / shelf to put anything except immediately above the toilet (not the most hygienic place in a bathroom to have a shelf. The towel were frayed and discoloured. The stair carpet is filthy and with that made you scrutinise the rest of the place. The photos on the website make the rooms look much larger than they are.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff that added nice touches to stay (put dropped off luggage into room along with my flowers into a vase of water once room was ready). 2 bottles of prosecco were also left as the lady on reception had found out it was my birthday. Good location for train station and town with restaurants and amenities nearby. Clean room with a large comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Good continental breakfast included in the price.

Small amount of traffic noise as we had a city facing room. Not a particular problem but may consider booking a park facing room next time.

Welcoming, clean and recommended.

Great location for city centre. Ten minute walk to centre. Friendly greeting and service throughout stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was tasty.

No parking (but knew that when booked). Air con and towel rail were ‘seasonal’ and therefore were not on.

Friendly, welcoming staff and comfortable stay

The staff were incredibly helpful: I called ahead to request an ironing board and iron, and to see if a late checkout was possible, and they were very accommodating. The guy on reception was so friendly and welcoming, helped me when I couldn’t get the kettle to work (socket issue), and let me store my luggage for a couple of hours. Felt very at home and safe there as a solo female traveller. There are two (possibly 3) rooms in the loft, really clean, well appointed with little kitchenettes that had everything you could need (even a microwave + combi oven). Shower was good and bed comfy. Radiator was effective and the views from the balcony doors into the park were lovely. Breakfast was perfectly fine, coffee machine decent if you add an extra shot, fresh pastries were nice, toast, cheese slices and ham - simple but enough for me and good value for the price / for Cambridge!

There were a few people being a bit rowdy in the park after dark which made me realise the doors/windows weren’t particularly soundproof. However it didn’t last all night so slept fine. You can hear seagulls skuttling about on the roof above but they flew off somewhere before bedtime! The lights in the room are quite harsh and either super bright or a bit grey and dim. Nothing that would prevent me staying there again.

Would not recommend awful noise from broken air conditioning unit.

The size of the room

The uncomfortable beds, along with the air conditioning unit which was not working, but then proceeded to make this awful noise from 1am onwards, along with the people above us walking around till 3am, the lady on reception was already aware of noise from the air conditioning unit and we weren’t told before that there was a problem with the unit itself. Therefore the worst nights sleep we have ever had, considering it was supposed to be a relaxing break.

Excellent breakfast. Staff very helpful. Room/hotel has been recently renovated and was done well and tastefully.

Room was more compact than expected. Hotel is located in a busy part of the main street so there was a lot of noise from the street late at night (people out having fun).

Fabulous central stay

Size and comfort of room. Staff very helpful. Location excellent ...walkable to everywhere we needed.

Breakfast was continental...which was fine. Good hot drinks and pastries. Yogurts available but no natural ones. Would have like some berries (understand cost but frozen would be good)...and possible another cheese choice. But overall much better than expected and we ste everyday.
