Great place - never had any need to approach staff, but they were very welcoming and polite.

We don't want to appear to be complaining as toilet as and other facilities were great. But we do like a bath and not just a shower - however beautiful. I cannot remember the absence of a bath being pointed out at any time. Again, we are not used to having a matress topper. In all, this was, visually speaking, very luxurious bedding, but not the eveyone's taste. The bed was too large and too soft for us, and seems to have been made for very large and also somewhat delicate people - people in want of feathers all around. We are not like this. Also, the British like real real TEA from India or China. One cup each is not enough and so we had to supply our own both the tea we prefer - and sufficient milk. Half a dozen specialist teas are surplus to requirements. In sum, I think there has been a serious mistake here made by planners and PR people. Accommodation like this is common in some parts of the USA - and increasingly other parts of the world. However, this hotel is in Britain, and much of your cleintelle, if they are like us, do not wish to be treated as an American might expect.

A brilliant stay at a superb hotel.

A beautiful stay at a glorious property. Wonderful rooms, beautiful bar, efficient staff. Wonderful and friendly concierge. Bathroom is spacious & modern. Rooms are large, but remain well heated, important in a bitter winter. Please note that the atrium is a wonderful place to meet. Do not feel reluctant to enjoy a drink there.

One person on the concierge with a school party checking in could have been remedied more quickly, but this is but a mere quibble on the whole.

A thoroughly pleasant, convenient hotel.

I have stayed in this hotel twice and found it very pleasant. It is ideally situated for the railway station and where I wanted to go in Cambridge. The rooms are very well furnished and a little more comfortable that I would expect for the price. It has better pillows than any other hotel I have been in. The staff are pleasant and everything gets done unobtrusively. I would certainly stay here again.

If you want to use room service there is nothing in the room to tell you how to do it other than to scan a QR code for your phone. After having to install a QR code reader - which was dodgy - I got to an app where, although I entered my room number, I couldn't simply select items and have them entered on the room bill. I was supposed to register a bank card instead. This struck me as far too much faffing and insecure. Perhaps I used the app wrongly but that would only mean that it was difficult to use! There was no information even about what number to dial on the phone to get to reception instead, in fact there seemed to be no information in the room at all. Why can't some simple printed information be left in the room instead for the older techophobes among us! I gave up on room service.

Wonderful stay

Bed was comfy. Bedding was lovely. Breakfast service and produce was amazing.

Lady on reception was not rude but not very welcoming. Handed us our key, told us what floor we were on. Didn't advise of where the lifts were or where breakfast was and at what times.. The incorrect remote was in the room for the tv. We had to call the guy from reception who came in whilst I was in bed... not ideal

Comfortable hotel right beside Cambridge Station

I like this place more every time I visit. It is a modern hotel, comfortable and convenient without much character but it has everything you need for a stay in Cambridge apart from the fact that it is a 25-minute walk from the centre. But it is right beside the station, so take your choice! I shall keep coming back.

Avoid if bringing young children

We reserved a cot in advance, but upon arrival, staff informed us they had likely run out. After searching, they located one in storage. However, when we attempted to put our daughter to bed, we discovered the cot was defective, a section of the mattress was missing (see photo). Sleeping directly on the metal bars pose a clear safety hazard. Fortunately, our daughter wasn’t injured, but this was completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise against staying here if you’re traveling with young children.

It was ok but not perfect for the money

Location is good for train station but little further from the city centre. The room are large and comfortable

Very soft bed mattress. Couldn’t sleep well. And also it wasn’t properly cleaned. No vacuum no toilet cleaned, although we put the sign up to clean our room

An excellent hotel, but payment system needs improving.

Wonderful stay at the property. Staff are affable, helpful & professional. Warm, quiet, with beautiful shower & lovely bar. Breakfast is also absolutely wonderful. Truly a brilliant hotel.

The payment system. There should be an ability to pay through this website. I was on a work trip & this booking was cancelled & so have others been because I have been unavailable to access a web portal that repeatedly crashes.

Cambridge was great. The hotel was not given the amount paid and poor service received.

Location is good as are the facilities.

Breakfast was very poor given the price paid. Plus, when asked for the rate to be changed to room only, the request was refused with no adequate explanation.

A perfectly nice hotel to spend the night.

This is a perfectly nice hotel. The room was attractive, a good size and pleasant to be in.

The location was in a fairly dull, suburban location so nothing much of appeal around it. Close to the train station which is good if travelling by train, but a busy locale otherwise. No parking if you are arriving by car.

My daughter and I loved the whole stay from the charming, efficient and friendly receptionist. We got upgraded to a beautiful room with balcony and some.goodies, . all the staff were friendly, the breakfast was delicious. We will be back

Cambridge classic. Botanical gardens close 20min walk to centre is ok

Parking near station very handy. 3 minute walk. Room spacious and comfortable. Opted for room with Balcony but didn't really have opportunity to use it, but nice to know it was there. Staff member was pleasant. Lots of space. Bathroom lovely and spacious. Really nice quality materials and floor and wall coverings. Bed was almost 'too' 😴 comfy.

Short on loo roll - why is it they think one spare is sufficient when they've left you with 20 sheets on the one on the roll holder 🤔 when you need it - you 'need ' it.. no soap or body wash, but OK for shampoo and conditioner.

Quality hotel with great decor and thought accompanied by great staff

Room and overall feel/ambience/decor of the hotel. The rooms are very well thought our. The staff were efficient and friendly and the added touch of a birthday card and drinks vouchers for us was appreciated.

The seating area in the bar could be made to feel more separate to the restaurant tables

Very stylish and comfortable really clean and the absolute highlight were the staff. From the moment that I first got there the staff were really friendly really smiley really engaging every member of staff that we came across smiled and spoke to us and was just really lovely. I was really surprised by it because we’ve been away to a few places this summer and we didn’t get that kind of reception anywhere. Special mention to the front of our staff and to the team over serving breakfast on Sunday morning they were really lovely. I think one of them was called Rammy and there was also a very helpful lady with dark hair.

Top end hotel .. staff pleasant.. bedroom was large and bed super comfy

It was a bit of a walk to central Cambridge.. but some great character pubs in the area .. .. no hotel parking..advised parking at train station ,you have to pay for any part of the day you are there .. not hourly! We also had an issue with a bar bill which frustrated us ..
