A little gem

Very cosy and homely space, I arrived in the rain so great to find warmth and welcome inside.

Just sorry didn't have time to visit the bar, at least for coffee. Though drinks are available in the room.

Clean and tidy modern rooms with a modern albeit small shower room with toilet.

The staff seemed to meet up at 5am before starting their shift and had very loud conversations We were in room 143.

Just a perfect stay

The room was very roomy with a large bathroom and the room was beautifully decorated with lovely fabrics and curtains that did not let the light in! Very friendly staff and we were lucky enough to be able to park on the premises.

It was spotless, well stocked and a comfortable size, in a site easily accessed from the city center and 5 minutes from the Polar Museum. Friendly and helpful staff.

Charming hotel and staff. I would stay here again.

The location was central and handy for the Fitzwilliam Museum, the Botanical Garden, the Railway Station and the main centre of Cambridge. The rooms were a good standard as well as the communal areas. The hotel has a distinctive curb appeal. There was a problem in that my T.V. wasn't working properly but with some persuasion the staff made a concerted effort to put me in the last available room which happened to be the family suite. The staff were very pleasant and approachable at all times.

The first and second room were both in the basement which is not my preference but the very busy street outside was only slightly audible.

We had a lovely time visiting my daughter at Uni and it was close to her accommodation.

The property was a short walk into the city centre. The room was clean and tidy and warm.

Lovely hotel but no lift for heavy cases

Lovely hotel. My room was a good size, in fact I was pleasantly surprised, I had booked a single but my bed was like a small double and very comfortable. There was plenty of room and very clean. Location is great - 5 minutes walk to the centre of Cambridge. I didn't have breakfast or use the lounge, so I am unable to comment.

People do need to be aware of the stairs. There is no lift, and the stairs are narrow. I had a medium case and struggled to get it up to the second floor. The stairs bend around, and it can be difficult to stay steady while manoeuvring your case around the courners.

Lovely room

Booked a single room on a room only basis. I wasn't expecting too much for the price, but the room was excellent. Well equipped, modern, clean and quiet. I've paid twice the price for much worse rooms.

Not again !

Location close to city

They forgot to clean my room ! And instead of apologising and accepting that it was an error on their end ! they wrote me an email that you already got a free upgrade which you should be very grateful for, and by the way. Yes we forgot to clean your room one day it was absolutely bonkers to receive an email from them saying that. I can’t believe people in this day and age write Such emails.

The location was excellent within walking distance of most amenities.. The room was comfy and was cleaned everyday . The staff were very helpful.

I had to report the shower falling off the wall The shower door wouldn’t close so bathroom flooded every time I used it The gym was bad! half was out of order I heard every movement the person above me took.
