Pleasant and comfortable stay

Good location few minutes walk to train station, good customer service and helpful staff, clean room and communal areas, good food for breakfast, I stayed in December and the room was warm with no issues in heating or hot water. Got maps from the lounge for the city to navigate. Lovely city mural on wall at the lounge.

Perfect for rail station, Addenbrooke’s Hospital and town centre. Rooms are spacious, warm and nicely decorated.

We were in a room with an accessible wet room for a wheelchair. Maybe that is the reason for a poor shower, I don’t know. Sadly, it was feeble and the water did not drain away properly and crept across the floor. Apart from that, it was a great place and I would recommend if.

Location great near station .secure Car park at rear of hotel Buses to city centre or 30 min walk Room and hotel very clean and recently decorated Dining room was bright and had white linen table cloths and breakfast fabulous

Breakfast only served until 9am but this maybe low season hours There are stairs up to rooms and down to bar and dining room so worth noting if mobility is an issue

the staff were excellent the hotel was clean very good value for a cambridge hotel, and so good to have free parking that was a real bonus

Bed a little hard, could probably benefit from a soft mattress topper, although it was ok and i know some people prefer harder bed mattressses

Excellent base for visiting Cambridge

From the initial greeting at reception, the cleanliness and the excellent food in the restaurant and at breakfast we could not fault our stay. Each and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is great value for money with tasty, freshly cooked food and a good selection of drinks.

Mini break in Cambridge

Room was very clean and extremely comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast.

We were on a mini break and would have preferred the breakfast to be served until 9.30am. Bit of a rush for 9.00am .

Perfect for a weekend stay for a Cambridge

First and forecast, a lovely welcome! Parking is a bonus and staff were flexible about this. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Contemporary decor. Clean and well equipped bathroom.

On the whole we did enjoy our stay away

There was very limited choice of a cold breakfast, there waa whole fruit but none already prepared. If you started with ssy a bowl of cereal the staff qere to quick to ask if you wanted aomething hot, it arrived before you had finished your ceral so it would get cold

On the first evening we dinned in and wished we had''nt. The quality of the produce used were very poor. The preaentation of the meal was the same. Very very dissapointed The room was very nice but the pillows were awful, so lumpy.

Good value for money, breakfast is the highlight.

Staff were really friendly and very helpful, the breakfast options were good.

The attic room wasn’t actually in the attic but under the stairs that were leading to the other rooms, not a big deal but a bit noisy. Room was on the small side and the car park was right outside on the same level so quite noisy even at night. Cleanliness was adequate but there was the odd mark here and there.

Good hotel but was rather expensive given concerns raised in this review

Nice room, comfortable bed, great location, very pleasant and helpful reception staff.

Room unfortunately smelt of cooking odour from kitchen, particularly breakfast. Window very stiff to open to remove odour. Had to ask for assistance. Room also noisy at times from someone else’s TV viewing. Breakfast staff rather grumpy and unwelcoming.

The warmth I received will always be remembered. The other aspects are its location and its cleanliness. It felt like a home away from mine own.

Lovely overnight break

The hotel was in a convenient location. Parking was a bonus . Ideal for an overnight stay. We visited the botanical gardens 2 mins walk away. A good choice at breakfast. The hotel was very clean
