Perfect hotel with lots of extras.

Fantastic location, in the centre of town without being noisy. We parked at maddingley road park and ride (free for 18 hrs and then approx £10 per 24hrs after) You can pay on Ringo app remotely. The park and ride bus stoppes about 200m away from the hotel so perfect when you have bags to carry. Rooms are excellent, very comfortable beds and a fantastic eye for detail. Having the kitchenette would be a huge bonus for some, nespresso, toaster, induction hob, pots and pans, dishwasher, microwave cutlery and crockery. They have thought of everything. Bathroom - clean, spacious and high end extras. Cafe - fabulous in all ways. Hotel in general the hotel is clean, safe, has a wonderful calming feel with the decor and I would 100% recommend it to anyone wanting a base in Cambridge for a longer stay or just a nicer short break than the other standard hotels that cambridge has to offer.

In terms of the hotel, it was surprising and delightful.

The location, the people, the facilities and the ambience.

The only thing that was a downside was the parking. Very expensive and the car park had homeless people and their 'gear' very apparent. Whilst we sympathised greatly, I felt a little nervous picking up my car, even in daylight.

There was no nearby car parking, but the off-site car park recommended at Castle Hill worked very well and was good value, so not a problem

We went for my late birthday celebrations. Staff were lovely and left a birthday treat for us. Staff were very welcoming. Accommodation was tidy and clean. Very good location! Will definitely come back again.

Super comfy and friendly.

New, modern, friendly, smart building. Comfortable bed. Great lobby. Just around the corner of the main historical buildings, the park. In-market corner, free water dispenser 24hs.

Nothing bad, just practical advice. Not so close to the train station. Consider a 20 minutes walk or taking a bus/taxi just outside the train station.

Good stay at Wilde would stay again

Location is great for central sites and hotel is very clean and rooms are well equipped; although instructions on using dishwasher weren't visible. You can also open a window for fresh air which helps with air con.

First room we were shown too had a very noisy fridge, so we had to move. Unfortunately the next room had twin beds and we wanted a double but didn't want to pack and unpack our stuff again so stayed put. When set up as two singles the righthand bed moves when you go to get on it so should be able to be locked into place.

A stay we were really looking forward to as it is a rare treat to get away - but left very disappointed with such an inc

The location was good. The bar area was nicely decorated and a calm atmosphere. The room was modern and quirky.

We checked into room 334 but only settled in around 11pm as we had been out. Once in we realised there was a really annoying sound which we thought was the air con but it wasn’t - it was coming from another fitting on the ceiling which we couldn’t fix. We contacted the hotel. A maintenance guy came to look and try to fix it - he couldn’t. This was now around midnight. They said we could move rooms - which we did as the noise was too irritating to sleep. But we didn’t get into the new room until gone 1am as they were sorting two single beds into a double. Far from ideal as it was so late. They offered us free breakfast but we didn’t want to set an alarm after going to bed so late so we didn’t have it. The maintenance guy was very nice - it wasn’t his fault. But why wasn’t the room checked before guests went in there. Very disappointing! When we checked out no one mentioned this huge inconvenience and we weren’t even asked if we had enjoyed our stay or if everything was ok!

It was a very comfortable mini - apartment for myself and my two grown up kids to share while we were visiting Cambridge. The room was very comfortable, with lovely touches like the cosy kitchen and even an umbrella hanging on the hook in case it rained and we'd forgotten one. The breakfast was also excellent, if a little expensive.

Modern central location in Cambridge. They had a bar & food service in downstairs lounge & 24 hour reception. The staff were very helpful & dealt professionally with any requests

A hotel where we can recharge fully for the next day

My friend and I received a warm welcome as soon as we entered the hotel. The staff gave us a brief description of the hotel facilities very clearly. Everything from the hotel was to our satisfaction. The breakfast and bar area was spacious. It was a pity that we didn't try the breakfast this time as this time we only had a 2-night stay. For sure, we will opt for this hotel again in our next trip to Cambridge.

Good location, nice facilities and a comfortable bed. However, unclean floor in room and shower door leaked.

Really good location. The entrance/bar/lounge workspace area was lovely and we liked the evening vibe there. The appliances in the room were in good condition.

The floor of the room wasn’t clean, I think it might’ve been missed in the room clean as the rest of the room was in excellent condition. The shower door wasn’t flush with the frame and it leaked profusely onto the bathroom floor each time it was used.

Great value for money at a quality, centrally located hotel

Really impressed with the experience and quality of this hotel overall. The building and rooms seem very new, the facilities like the gym are well equipped and the room was really comfortable. Location is also fantastic, right in the centre of town so easy to visit all the colleges. I thought this was excellent value for money.
