The price was reasonable and staff were friendly.

My room 350 was next door to Room 348 who played loud music throughout the night. I complained to the front desk at 2am in the morning and to be fair the staff did come to ask them to stop but Room 348 kept playing music until 6am in the morning. I hope the hotel makes sure such guests do not ruin other guests sleep and time in the hotel! There should be some sort of policy to ensure such guests are handled robustly.

Bar and catering staff were very helpful and friendly.

Management were not efficient during check in and didn’t give breakfast vouchers which caused alot of spoilt mood and time wasting. lack of complementary toiletries, poor standard of cleanliness, room had dirty water in kettle, tea cups were stuck tot he mat, dirty, bathroom door fitted the wrong way, extractor fan in bathroom didn’t work and was not fixed when reported. Duvet cover was fitted inside out, 2single bed joined to gather to make double, while I paid for a double room. Paid for breakfast on arrival yet the restaurant staff didn’t have it on their system and we were asked to pay twice during our stay and had to go to reception staff to confirm which was very embarrassing. unhelpful information on parking at the site, hotel has no support to offer to customers other than QR code and self register. it was very stressful trying to sort this after travel so far from home. Overall I think it was over priced for the level of service and facilities, there is parking issues and you hve to pay, city is 10min drive from hotel for any food unless unless you pay at hotel. Breakfast did not have any vegetarian options and had to ask. They didn’t make any effort or do anything for Valentines weekend or provide anything complimentary especially when the booking was made for Valentines weekend. A restaurant made better effort than them and put balloons up.

Perfect

Location was perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful the pool and gym was perfect and would deffo come back for a repeat visit.

The room could have been a bit cleaner with some splash stains on the walls around the toilet and also only two teabags in the room.

Great for bed and breakfast

The receptionist was informative and friendly. Breakfast was relaxed and good choice of items.. Not keen on dinner menu and the restaurant staff were lacklustre. Didn't return to take orders, cleared plates and had to ask for dessert menu, coffee was cold. It was too quiet so they felt on a go slow

Amazing facilities and the rooms are great. Good for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

The property was truly great. It was clean and the room looked amazing and very spacious. Showers was really good with a private door for the toilet, comes with good shower gel and shampoo provided. Also the station is a 30 second walk giving you quick access to Cambridge city(15min walk from Cambridge station to town).

To be honest nothing to complain. However the breakfast near the last one hour supply of English breakfast food go low and don’t get refilled. The location is peaceful with the station 30 seconds away but again not that many options to explore.

Breakfast and evening meal choice was excellent, staff were friendly, location was great with bus stop opposite into Cambridge, late breakfast and check out at weekend was excellent.

Would have been really useful to have a small spin dryer for swimwear in the pool area. I couldn’t work out how to fix the plug in the bathroom in our room and the bottom USB socket on the left side of the bed wasn’t working. The kettle also leaked when poured and could do with replacing. We were in room 253. I loved the room other than these small points and would definitely stay again.

One night stay for football.

Price, location, rooms very nice. Good shower. Restaurant and bar good. Staff friendly. Short walk to the Abbey stadium for football.

Be nice to get free parking when using the hotel but guess that's not down to them.

Location good for train station and links into Cambridge. Good parking.

Hot buffet breakfast was cold on both days and there wasn't enough on the Sunday, they ran out of a lot of items and no plates. It wasn't too late at 9.00 am so expected more food to be available. Staff member didn't seem to care when I pointed out that the hot buffet items had run out.

Great location and value

To goto the fitness centre you have to go to level 1 then again to ground level. Card didnt work at secure acess and you have to come all the way back up to level 1 around the other side of the building back to ground level then reception to speak to staff.

Very long corridors and poor access, was given very poor advice about charging my car which led to really inconvenient situations while my eldest was moving in to university the next day. The staff were rude and refused to accept a complaint.

It was modern and clean nice looking hotel this is what attracted me to go for a little swim and spa break!

I didn’t like the fact that we discovered that our door was a mirror and it was actually a see-through mirror so when I was on the toilet on the other half was on the toilet any occasion or we were showering at any occasion either one of us can be seen which for my case I don’t like to be seen when I’m having my toilet is a private thing and I think it’s to be considered regardless if you’re a couple as some people don’t like to be seen when they’re having a shower or a toilet it should be very private for everyone’s individual needs regardless if you’re married or not. So we wake up the next morning and we experience an absolute absolute disaster with the breakfast we don’t eat pork and I understand the fact that this is bound to be served but when I looked at the description and the pictures that was advertised to this hotel, there was loads of other options there including pancakes, waffles muffins, sourdough bread, different types of bread more for variety avocado the pictures were completely misleading we had a coffee each and a glass of orange juice. I then requested for a refund as we never had any of the breakfast as this was not to our fulfilled status of what was described on the actual website itself what was actually served was not of any good quality. The men looked off. The mushrooms look like they were drenched in water the fried eggs looked over greased fried and the sourdough bread that was supposed to be toasting. Bread was actually a small baguette sliced in pieces which was rock hard but when we tried toasting it it was absolutely uneditable and that was the point. We actually walked away and requested for a refund.. Then to make it worse, we said we want to use the spa or sauna area the swim area and we were then told that they’ve got a situation for health and safety reasons we are not allowed to use the spa facility facilities bearing in mind they showed us a tour just before supposedly having our breakfast this was not mentioned to us.

Friendly, welcoming staff. They remember us from a previous visit!

Breakfast felt disorganised. Unfortunately crockery was limited - had to ask for cups and no small plates. Ran out of some breakfast items and had to ask - bread for toast, mushrooms, pastries. Our TV did not work properly- disappointing as there was something we wanted particularly to watch on our return from day out.
