If you're coming to Cambridge, stay here. Roof terrece was lit, on a Tuesday night, in the cold. Great vibe, even better value!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Staff are very friendly and attentive. All rooms are new and of good quality. Easy access via park and ride for city centre and plenty of room in underground car park.

Pros: The location is good, the hotel is clean, the staff are polite, but that is where the positives end. Cons: Our stay was a catalogue of errors. Upon arrival, no room was ready. Despite being told via phone that a 3rd child was fine, I was hit with an unexpected *** surcharge. The "Family Room" was not prepared; the sofa bed had no bedding and was tiny. Despite requesting, nothing was done until I tracked down night staff late at night. The room was cold as the heating was broken, resulting in my daughter getting sick. To make matters worse, the shower pipes rattled violently before the water cut out entirely while my son was mid-wash, forced to rinse off soap with bottled water. He has also since fallen ill. Safety and logic were non-existent. A fire alarm went off in the night; nobody answered the front desk, forcing me to go down to check on our safety at 2am. Also, the bathroom light only works if the main bedroom light is on—guaranteeing everyone is woken up for a night-time bathroom trip. Summary: Between the broken heating, lack of water, and poor communication, this stay was a disaster. Hyatt Centric failed the most basic standards of hospitality and hygiene. Avoid if you are traveling with children.
