Stylish, brilliantly located hotel in the centre of Cambridge.

Lovely staff, really nice decor, nice atmosphere, stylish room with a view of the river. Excellent food in the restaurant. superb location. Plenty of parking with electric charging. We have stayed here twice and will stay again I've no doubt.

There could be a bit more choice with breakfast, but it's no biggie.

We will be back.

We stay at this hotel every time we stay in Cambridge and we love everything about it. Staff are great, the facilities are fantastic and the location is ideal. Waking up to a view of the river is always magical, especially in the winter months when it looks like a winter wonderland.

The bar didn’t have Amaretto but it’s a great bar with friendly staff so that can be forgiven 😀

Unpleasant

Location is an advantage

Our little one wanted her milk heated but the staff refused. I understand the overheating aspect but there was no help offered whatsoever. The checkin staff was extremely unpleasant.

Fantastic location and dinner with river views

Fantastic location. Very central and views over city and river. Very quiet too. Bar and restaurant both good places with views over river. Sharing menu was amazing and very good value for 2 people. Beds very comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Some of the chairs in restaurant were a bit on the low side and where we were sitting in the evening by the window was a bit drafty. Most of the food for the cooked breakfast was not warm enough and plates were cold too. Expensive to park car in adjacent car park .. about £26 for 24hrs.

Amazing place to stay or to party!

I was guest of the day and had an upgrade to a balcony room with river view. Also chocolate and 2 free drinks vouchers. Was a lovely surprise. We have had our staff Christmas party here for the last few years and is a brilliant venue. Food is great along with service. Special mention to Megan in the bar who coped with serving cocktails to around 30 of us at lightening speed! Also Davinia, senior events planner who is always amazing dealing with our requests and last minute changes!

A disappointing stay because it was interrupted by the fire alarm going off

I liked the atmosphere in the bar area and all of the staff were friendly. Breakfast was quite good but I had a leaky tea pot.

I didn't like not having a very hot shower in the morning, the water was hot but not hot enough. I didn't like the bottled water in the mini bar fridge which I couldn't open. I didn't like the fact that we were not offered any compensation for having to stand outside for almost an hour on Saturday evening whilst the hotel investigated what had triggered the fire alarm. It spoilt my evening .

Disappointing - I am recovering from a serious injury and looked forward to two days of R and R.

I chose it for the location which was fine. Public rooms pleasant.

Breakfast fairly standard buffet. Luke warm one day.-Bread poor only sliced available. Only scambled eggs on offer. Bad experience on arrival - reception repeatedly denied all knowlege of my booking. Tried to turn me away - some one senior ? finally intervened Room poorly fitted out. No where to use as a desk. No comfortable chair to sit and read in. Tv only watchable by sitting on the bed. Central heating not working properly so room cold. did provide an oil heater when problem reported. Staff didn't understand that I had prepaid for dinner.

Excellent location. All key landmarks within walking distance. We had dinner at the hotel the first night and it was really nice. Staff were all friendly and professional.

This is a great hotel which is well appointed and close to the heart of Cambridge. A treat!

We have stayed here often because it is well appointed and in an excellent location very close to the centre of Cambridge. The room overlooked the river and had a pleasant and private balcony (which would be good in summer!). The breakfast room, still called the Garden House, is very extensive, although we had to go in a side room which in fact was much quieter and close to the buffet. The usual buffet breakfast was nevertheless very good, and I asked for and got fried eggs in a reasonable time. All staff were pleasant and attentive.

Nothing displeased us. We told the reception clerk that that the balcony door could not be locked, but joked that luckily Batman and Robin were not around. The receptionist laughed. We laughed. Magic. Would still like that to be fixed though: I really don't like the thought of a visit by spiderman. By the way, this is not a cheap hotel but that's Cambridge for you.

Very enjoyable

Trendy, great view of the river and the cows that are allowed to roam . Super bar, food was really good. Staff were excellent in the bar. A little slow in the dining area, for example getting fried eggs proved a really slow process on both occasions we stayed. This is only a minor issue to sort .

I don’t think we’ll be staying here again.

The decoration was nice.

The staff at the lobby bar and restaurant were inattentive. My credit card was charged twice. I’ve written to request a refund and am still waiting for a response. In addition, a £1 authorization was taken from two different cards — both the one linked to my Booking.com reservation and the one I used to pay for the room. Having the room charge processed twice was very inconvenient.

A truly memorable experience and a superb location,right next to the river Cam in the centre of Camb

We woke up to having a marvellous feast of a breakfast each day which meant we couldn’t manage a lunch. The dining room service was excellent and as it was a special occasion (our grandson was receiving his Masters Degrees at Magdalene College,Cambridge)we pushed the boat out a bit.A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Home away from home in the heart of Cambridge

We have stayed at the Graduate Cambridge on numerous occasions and it is always like returning home. The restaurant for lunch, dinner and breakfast is exceptional with plenty of variety and high quality. Our dinner in particular was fabulous! The charming rooms are immaculate and have well appointed. The welcome we received when we arrived was so helpful, professional and friendly. We can’t for a return next year.

Hilton not up to it’s name.

We liked the decor, the location and the cozy fireplace.

As tourists, we spent 4-6 hours out and about leaving around 10 and returning around 3:30-4. The two full days we were there our room wasn’t freshened up by the time we returned. At 4 we wanted to do some chilling not waiting for service. When we checked at the desk about the cleaning, we were told that the staff had until 5 to clean! Not acceptable. Funny, as we were leaving the room at the end of our stay at 10:30 the cleaning cart was right by our room! We stayed in 3 other properties this trip and all were cleaned when we returned 3-4. Shame on The Graduate by Hilton. They need more staff.
