Comfortable and convenient

It was great to have a kitchenette, which meant that I could make my own breakfast. Very convenient to have Sainsbury's around the corner.

It would be great to have a small coffee plunger as part of the kitchen equipment (I bought one from Sainsbury's and took it home with me). The lighting in the bathroom was very poor and not quite enough space for toiletries and so on - I would suggest an extra small shelf and a much better light above the mirror.

Room was great. Great bed. Warm shower. Clean. Bar round the corner for food and drinks. Sainsburys, coffee shop, restaurant and bus stop near by.

Thought it was expensive for what it was. No breakfast, parking on top of price of hotel.

The main reception was beautiful and smelt stunning. The staff where very friendly and very helpful. Our room/apartment was perfect, we even booked an extra night as we felt one night wasnt enough.

The only little downfall was the price of the parking as you have to pay per 24 hours, possibly should be one price for the length of your overall stay.

Lovely spacious apartment on the outskirts of central Cambridge. Very comfortable, bright well equipped rooms. A Sainsbury’s and buzzy coffee shop/bakery ver close by. Quiet and lots of parking.

It was not clear on Booking that parking was not free. It cost £20 per night. There was no way of making coffee and no sharp knife provided. We asked twice but one was never provided.

Short drive or bus to Cambridge centre, fantastic apartments with great vibe in Eddington.

Fantastic, spacious and light apartments with great furnishings and super bathrooms with, I think, one of the best showers ever! Very comfortable. Shop and restaurant and bar and regular buses to town right on doorstep. Nice community coffee shop adjacent. This was a lovely stay. And very dog friendly! And great value for money. Seriously we can’t say enough positive things about this accommodation, very pleased.

Considering how brilliant the rooms and overall business is, small details were frustrating. The dishwasher leaked, the cutlery wasn’t at all clean, some kitchen roll would be handy for the kitchen, the extractor fan didn’t work in the bathroom, the bedroom door didn’t close easily and so on. I couldn’t understand the oven settings at all and it seemed to have a fault (power repeatedly cutting out). Some instructions on how to use the oven and hob would be helpful. Small things but they can be fixed to avoid frustration. Don’t let these things put you off, it is a fantastic choice, great location and very reasonable for the money!

Feels like home!

Always such a pleasure to stay here on regular visits to Cambridge. Lovely open spaces & so close to city centre but without congestion!

Sometimes it’s a long walk to apartment from life! I’ve learnt to put in a request for a particular room!

The heating was broken in one room requiring a heater to be brought. Given it was January and cold this was far from ideal. Also despite booking two rooms on the same booking we were very far apart.

Bad maintenance and dirty

The design of the sliding door for the bedroom is good.

I booked 2 studio rooms, I appreciated the hotel upgraded us to 2 one bedroom suite. However, my room was dirty, dirty things/poo in toilet bowl was not flushed, cupboards doors could not be closed properly, handles of the cupboard doors were also dirty, and the washing machine was dirty with mold. I dare not to use it and the kettle. The cookerhood/cupboard door handle was very dirty, when I tried to find the switch to turn off the light, the dirt made my hands very dirty. The light near sofa dropped, angle adjust function was out of order, the room was dark.

Fabulous and very comfortable place to stay.

It’s a lovely property and has everything you will need for a break away. Plus it’s only a 50-55 minute walk into the city.

The cooking facilities. You need an HND to work them! Absolute nightmare this year and last year! We would have used the restaurant, but the choice for vegans was just one main course choice. So we went further afield.

Cleanliness could be improved but good location.

Good location.

Not very clean (dusty and oven still dirty from previous guest) and only 2 of kitchen items (cups, spoons, plates etc) so ended up having to wash things up all the time as oppose use the dish washer. Would have been helpful to have more.

The studio was comfortable and the staff was nice.

The staff were really nice, it’s close to the bus route. The studio was cozy and warm, and it was a good size, we really liked staying here!

We got a studio with a mini kitchen, but it didn’t come with any long life products like oil, basic seasoning like salt, pepper. As we were only staying for a couple nights it was pointless to buy that stuff so it would make sense to provide that.

Well equipped, modern and clean

The room was boiling hot- 28 degrees at points and was unable to turn it down. It made it impossible to sleep. Also my room smelt of ok cigarette smoke.

This was our second stay in past 3 years. Will never go back again in light of poor hygiene!

Poor drainage in washroom. Besides, there was no room cleaning cleaning or change of towels during our 4-nights stay. Staff failed to deliver towels as requested!

Excellent and comfy

The staff were lovely and helpful. The location itself was perfect as we were close to a restaurant/bar and Sainsburys. Our room was new and very clean. I loved the design of the building as a whole. Could be perfect for a short leisure or business trip.

Outside parking has limited spaces and you can only park there for 4 hours even if you use the RingGo app to make payment. The hotel has underground parking but it's based on a first come first serve basis as a £20 cost for 24 hours. However, we ended up parking at the 'Park and Ride' about a 6 min walk away for free for 18 hours. I would recommend this to anyone staying.

Superb find at an amazing price.

Easily accessible location with plenty of parking onsite. The apartment was spacious and well equipped with everything needed for a short stay. if you didn't want to cook, there were restaurants and bars within minutes walk of the front door. I stayed here for pleasure, but it's suitable for work purposes too with great wi-fi and a small table in the apartment for working from. Clean and spacious. Good air conditioning, but the windows would open too, which is rare. A nice quiet spot and I would not hesitate to stay again.

There's nothing much not to like, but the glass panel on the bathroom door is an issue if you are not extremely close to the person that you are sharing with. I prefer privacy in the bathroom!

It was a beautiful hotel with a lovely bar and restaurant. The terrace was amazing and worth the extra! The staff were friendly and helpful!

Nothing at all that I didn’t like about the property. My only negative was that there was A LOT of comms via email and text beforehand and it was very confusing, and some of the information was incorrect. This was all resolved by the staff when I reached the property.

Quiet rooms in a bustling school zone right outside of city center

It was so nice having multiple options for dinner and hanging out. The walk around the park was lovely considering we’d driven quite a ways that day. Even with the hustle and bustle outside, the rooms were so nice and quiet.

If I had to pick something, the parking is a bit frustrating. Not that there’s anything can be done it’s just the area. And while the bathrooms are clean- there is quite a bit of mold in the bathrooms. A proper steam cleaner would help clear that right up.

The property was beautiful, super big comfortable bed, enough wardrobe space and big bathroom. Kitchen was okay.

The kitchen was completely overlooked in the cleaning process. The oven and specifically the oven tray was greasy, old food all over - not cleaned. There were brown splatters all over the walls, the counters were cracked and stained. The silicone around the sink was coming off. Crumbs all over the floor and hairs on the sofa. Overall, the maintenance issues i can overlook but the cleanliness i cannot.

The location was excellent with availability of breakfast at the hotel and a nearby bakery. Paid parking available including EV charging.

Fantastic place to stay

Turing Locke was a fantastic, clean, and an incredibly stylish place to stay. The location was great with a park and ride facility into Cambridge very close by. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and knowledgable.
