Pretty hotel. Staff was very courteous and helpful and desk and in restaurant where we ate a lot. Dinner was always good. . Good breakfast buffet. There was a perfume scent that was ever present in dining area and lobby that was unpleasant and as we know now very unhealthy. Housekeeping was spotty. Seems like something was missing everyday and things could be cleaner. I would get back late afternoon and room still wasn’t cleaned.

What a great hotel, excellent position, 20 minute walk into Cambridge. Really quiet and comfortable rooms. Best of all, the staff. Super friendly, courteous and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel 15 to 20 minutes walk from the city centre. Check in was easy but hotel takes £150 which is refundable 5-7 days after you check out. I don’t agree with this as it should be returned on check out. Check in is 4pm but reception can email you if your room is ready earlier. Parking is £24 a day but the car park is underground, appears to be safe and is the going rate for Cambridge. The room was clean. The shower was amazing, towels and dressing gowns are provided as is a hairdryer and iron with ironing board. Room service is very expensive with both a £5 and service charge added on. Breakfast offered a good choice of food, eggs cooked to order. However it would have been good to have some blueberries for porridge. Staff were all very attentive and friendly. There is also a separate coffee bar which is nice. We didn’t use the pool and the sauna was closed. All in all a lovely stay and we will return.

We love our stay at the Fellows house, staff was super helpful & polite and dinner & breakfast were absolutely wonderful. The only thing we would say is that the electric car chargers in their car park were not working - although the Hotel tried contacting providers - it was inconvenient as we were banking on charging over night there.

Overall… I loved the hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the facilities were amazing. The convenience of the restaurant and gym were very much appreciated. The hotel is within walking distance of the main town centre which made exploring a breeze.

Excellent customer service, the reception staff were all incredibly helpful. The dinner was exceptional, we had the Mac n cheese with pesto and Fish & Chips. Room layout and size was perfect, air con was not cool enough at some point it was very warm in the night. Breakfast was perfect and lots of great options. Enjoyed the cocktails. Friendly staff. Clean room. Good air conditioning in a heat wave! Comfy beds. Well furnished suites. TVs are quite old and so you can’t watch Netflix etc on them. The apps that were on the TV were so old that they wouldn’t work because they needed updates we couldn’t do. The toiletries were nice except for the conditioner which was really runny and thin so if you’re particular about that I’d bring your own conditioner. Breakfast had a good selection but could have been of higher quality. For example, the scrambled egg was clearly microwaved and rather basic and flavourless. We enjoyed the pool as it was so quiet. It was a shame that the sauna and steam room were unavailable due to maintenance.
