Well located for our needs. Had kitchenette.
Hard bed, no TV and room not made up daily. No mirror close enough to a power point for a hair dryer. Full length mirror obscured by chest of drawers

Nice quiet location but easy short walk into central Cambridge. Clean and comfortable room. The room I booked was well equipped with ensuite, desk and mini kitchen (no TV but not needed). Lovely to have breakfast in the Hall. So much nicer than a hotel, despite somewhat plain rooms. You feel like you are actually staying in Cambridge rather than any generic town. Eduroam + guest wifi available. Friendly helpful staff.
Parking not free but also not too expensive (£10 for 24hrs).

The welcome and support from the night porter - he was great! So nice to be welcomed by a real person not signing in online! A fantastic location for a brief visit -a quick walk into town. And car parking too! 👍
Great breakfast thank you.
Our room was very hot - we turned the heating off.

It was very quiet and a calm place to be. Westminster college is located not far from the centre. I also found a bus nearby which went all the way to the railway station.

In a great location for central Cambridge. The room was nice and quiet, facing a courtyard away from the road. The buffet breakfast was great. The general Hogwarts ambience was nice too.
The bed was a bit hard and creaky.

The college building looked lovely. There's a very peaceful and calm atmosphere in the college. The dining hall for breakfast was spacious and had all the facilities needed.
It's located slightly outside the city centre.

I had a fantastic stay - check-in was easy; the location fantastic - it felt very safe for a solo traveller. Easy walking distance to the main market square (15 minutes), and 40 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast was lovely - hot & cold food available. Very atmospheric. Near to the central colleges. Great if you are working - big desk & comfy bed. Light great for doing my make-up!
I would have loved the heating in the room to be turned on before I arrived, but once it was on it warmed up quickly; a very comfortable stay.

Great location - note that parking is not free! The rooms are ok (slightly posher versions of student accommodation). It is quiet but you will hear traffic noise outside and the only thing that was an annoyance was that the company the delivered their clean linen decided to start doing that at 6:30AM and made a real racket outside my room (apparently this is not normal as they usually come around 10AM). The breakfast was good and there was a nice vegetarian selection.
State that parking is limited and chargeable. Give clearer instructions on how to get there by car and which car park to use.

The room was really warm and cosy and the bed in the double room was lovely and really comfortable. Staff friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast was cold. It would've been so much nicer if it had been hot.

Beautiful historic building and a great location, parking £10 for 24 hours so very reasonable
No mirrors except for the bathroom so could do with one to get ready in the bedroom

Checkout of 10am is a bit early

Great location – Short walk to the centre of Cambridge – yet quiet and with parking (a rare commodity in Cambridge)

We loved the ‘Harry Potter’ style dining room.
I would love to study and apend 6 months at Westminster college. It was absolutely wonderful.

The amazing thing about being accommodated at the Westminster College is the location and the building in itself. It took me back to student years and it was a fast emersion into the Cambridge atmosphere. Very nice location for walking to the center and to various universities.
The WiFi was very problematic - if I had needed it for a call and not had my own data, I could not have worked during the stay. This cannot happen in a facility meant for working people and students, there needs to be a back-up.
Better instructions on how to reach the facility from the railway station could also help, including a shuttle offer. I would have gladly paid for it rather than walk with my suitcase for 55 min.

Room was slightly too warm without window open!

Excellent location, great staff, nice size room with shower etc, parking on site for a good price and walking distance from town centre. Recommended.
No further comment - was all good.

Great position for exploring Cambridge. Impressive building. Possibility of parking at a very reasonable price. Tea/coffee making facilities in room as well as microwave
These are not negative comments, you just need to be aware: This is a functioning University College. The rooms are basically student rooms rented out to visitors. No frills, no tv in room. Very basic beds. Breakfast served in the students refectory.

Historic/church setting. Parking. Wonderful garden border planting. Traditional and good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Quiet.
So empty and seemingly underused. Rather tired and basic decor and fittings and fixtures in bedroom and bathroom for the overnight rate (by comparison with other offers at nearly (£200/night we have experienced).

Pillows were very thin and slightly lumpy

Beautiful building and my single room with en-suite was a decent size. Good location, especially for Kettle’s Yard. I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.
Internal painting work has recently been completed and the paint fumes in my room were almost unbearable. It was too late in the evening by the time I realised I was developing a headache from the fumes, and there was no one on reception to speak to. I tried emailing but no response until the morning, which is understandable, but I was too tired and it was too late to try and get a room elsewhere. I had to sleep with both windows wide open and unfortunately was on the side that has a busy road, with no earplugs, so it was a very disturbed and uncomfortable night’s sleep. They offered a 35% refund as a ‘good will gesture’, which I took because I was too tired to argue, but really I think I should have been completely refunded. The rooms aren’t ready to stay in. I would leave it a few weeks before booking (this is September 2025). It’s a shame.

Firstly, the college isn’t a dedicated major hotel, and to be fair doesn’t try to be either. But it’s proximity to the centre of town was brilliant, & the cooked breakfast was totally outstanding! Good parking at the hotel too.
Staff at reception were very helpful too.
Beds were uncomfortable, & no tv in the room.

Rooms are good size and well equipped with kettle, sink and fridge. Good shower as well
Check in process didn't feel great, not the usual friendly faces you see at most hotels.
Signage not very clear in places to direct you to the room
5am alarm wasn't helpful, but more worrying is that there was no one on site to support, check that everyone was accounted for etc. Stood outside with no comms.
Breakfast wasn't great, really sloppy eggs and burnt bacon but otherwise a decent enough choice

The location and the building and the staff were very hospitable and everything was very clean
There were graduation parties that went on until 6am right near the college and we got no sleep and the shower didn’t work so we couldn’t take a shower after a long journey

location was perfect, just behind kettle´s yard which I was visiting, an easy walk to other sights in Cambridge.
the staff was super friendly and helpful when I was checking in.
there was no tv in my room , absolutely no problem for me, but others might be surprised

The friendly staff, the sheer character of the building.
The shower was ridiculously small, only one chair, no TV.

The location is fantastic. A very easy walking distance to the city centre. The room was a lovely size and had a separate small kitchen with a dining table for 2.
The parking is perhaps a little expensive at £20 for 24hrs but we appreciated being able to park so close to the city.
The breakfast was a little sparce. We went for breakfast 30mins after service began and even though there were very few people in the dining room there was no scrambled eggs and the one bowl of fresh fruit had 3 small pieces of apple.

Breakfast was very good. I was very pleased to have parked on-site, but space availability is limited. The stay was reminiscent of old times as an undergraduate. Just a short walk to punting providers on the Cam.

Beautiful old college offering a unique experience in Cambridge. Amazing breakfast, clean rooms and kind staff.
There was nothing I disliked. However some more cozy common spaces would have been nice.
