Still good value for money but not as much as in the past. There are other options would considering

Location is excellent. Breakfast very good. Reception staff / porters very helpful and accommodating.

Check-out time is 10am. However, shortly after 9am, the cleaners started banging on the bedroom door. This happened three times, and one time I was in the shower and they opened the door (about 09:30). Very annoying and unnecessary. Would make me think again about returning.

A step in time. Back to College, living a spartan existence.

The location, history and architecture were highlights.

The bed was uncomfortable. The mattress was too soft. I felt like I was going to fall out of bed. I didn't like the stair access in the dorm accomodation. Too many stairs and not great for poor mobility.

All of the staff were most helpful,friendly and welcoming, the accommodation was clean, tidy, comfortable and well appointed and the food splendid. Thank you for an enjoyable break away

Excellent.

Location was perfect and attractive. Breakfast was good (except the coffee, sorry). But the tea making facilities in the room were very welcome. The room was warm, cosy and very comfortable. Very happy with my stay.

A coffee machine or a filter coffee maker at breakfast would be nice.

Great position. Disappointing room.

Christ’s college in the centre of Cambridge is ideally located and it is a very old place with amazing history. However we were given a room right down the back in one of the new buildings. While we didn’t mind the walk to get there, the room was a pretty standard 60’s student room. The windows faced the street and the very noisy wine bar until after midnight. Porter staff were helpful and pleasant.

Perfect place to stay and really feel a closeness to the academic world that is Cambridge

The very central location, stepping off the street into another era - and a beautiful, calm, academic world steeped in history, the friendly and helpful porters and the lovely Locker Room cafe for a coffee and great breakfast is just by the KIngs Street entrance at the back. Our three rooms were all together on our own little corridor.

wifi access was difficult and never managed it but I'm not great at technology.

Up-to-date comfort in an historic setting: a refreshing start and end to the day.

Room was comfortable and pleasant. En-suite ingenious, once you had located where everything was! Breakfast: plenty of scope for experiment. Didn't have the same thing twice running. Friendly and very helpful staff.

Not just you: general beef about hot-water machines for making tea at breakfast. The water is never quite hot enough.

Comfortable and quiet, with great closet and drawers. Fabulous location with beautiful grounds, within minutes’ walk to the heart of old Cambridge. Porters lodge very helpful, as were the kitchen staff. Excellent cooked breakfast menu :)

Since they were student accommodations, the carpet was unfortunately stained, and the wonderfully large desk counter also had several permanent “damage marks.” Made the mistake of not enquiring about accessibility as I was travelling with my elderly father, who had to navigate two flights of stairs, albeit user-friendly ones :) The shower bathtub was also not accessible.

Simple accommodation, conveniently located for a short stay in Cambridge. The room had ample natural light, despite its small size. In room coffee and tea was a nice touch.

Comfortable room and a very convenient location. An excellent breakfast. Staff were all professional and helpful. I enjoyed encountering the young Charles Darwin in the grounds.

Staff: very friendly and helpful porters Room and Facilities: spacious room although the shared room is not as spacious, plenty of storage including drawers and wide windowsill, a large desk and even a coffee table and armchair, sockets next to bed And it is a college room after all

Breakfast was good and room size is massive and comfortable bed the grounds were lovely and felt like a student staff were very friendly and very informative of the area

floors squeak a bit but didn't put us off and a few people shouting after hours but this was outside the college and not their fault in anyway

The Breakfast was well worth every penny. Superb. The staff were all friendly. A peaceful and beautiful college.

The bathroom, which was shared, was ok and basic. It was probably the least appealing aspect. However there was a vanity sink in the room hidden in a cupboard. A useful discovery which I wish I’d known about. Great for cleaning tea mug, kettle and washing hands etc. You do have to lug your bags up the steps. As I’d recently damaged my hand it was more tricky for me than it might have been.
