Lovely place provided by charming hosts

Cozy atmosphere, kind and charming hosts. Quiet location but still walking distance from the city centre. The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious!

Rooms are clean , nice thoughtful touches in the room and a nice hot shower. Breakfast there is plenty of choice. Omelette are beautiful and you are made to feel welcome

Fabulous welcome from Guido & Maria with helpful instructions on entering the property and parking. Great location, within walking distance of Cambridge City Centre, pubs and restaurants. Beautifully clean room, comfortable bed, power shower and lots of homely touches. Breakfast is six stars!

Excellent hospitality in a great location

B&B with excellent hosts Guido and Maria who genuinely do everything they can to make your stay the best it can be. The breakfast is excellent and we appreciated how the room supplies (water, fresh milk, biscuits) were always replenished. It’s about a 25 minute walk to the city centre, and the free parking is a huge plus. Plenty places to eat locally if you don’t want to walk back again in the evening. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent Homestay Experience in Cambridge!

I arrived in Cambridge with my husband but didn’t realize I had accidentally booked as a solo traveller. Guido, the host, was incredibly kind and understanding about my careless mistake. He was very helpful in assisting us with planning what to do and what to visit in Cambridge, and even served us coffee upon arrival despite the booking error — I was truly grateful for his kindness and generosity. His wife, Maria, is a hardworking and capable lady who prepares freshly cooked breakfast for all the guests every morning. She and their son diligently clean the rooms until they are spotless. The room amenities are very complete because they’ve thoughtfully provided everything you could possibly need, ensuring maximum comfort for every guest. It truly feels like a home away from home. They also offer free parking for guests, which is a big bonus. If I ever visit Cambridge again, I will definitely stay here, and I won’t hesitate to recommend this homestay to any of my friends visiting Cambridge.

I rarely write a revoew- unless I feel I need to Hopefully the family who travels with young child can see this honest review. Good things first ~The property itself is nice and clean and pay attention to a liret of détails offerted two bottes of water and some snacks, breakfast is nice and freshly made. Then if you read till here. You maybe curious what'd bad. First time when we arrive and buzzed, the owner opened with frawn and unhappiness says we don't accept children at the dooe. I said my daughter is four and half sorry I thought the extra large bed can fit three . He then said we don't allow kids under 6 cuz other customer doesn't like the noise . Then just before i am standing there under the sun been block outside the main door the owner says i will not stop you staying cuz you have paid but you have to make her quite. Me and my husband expressed the apologise and expresses thankfulness and assured him my child will be only quick sleep quite after a long day travel with no noise. But the pwner come forward and suddenly bend down and with laughter on his face told my girl if I hear you make noise at night you will have to sleep with cows. Ok i nearly go crazy but i put it up. so the floor shakes Every step we walk and room is really hot due to weather we left fan on whole night. Can't open window cuz it's facing main street it's too noisy. We booked extra large bed room. I guess although the owner is kind of experienced hoster and knows how to make other guest happy but we certainly feel offended at first sight and he certainly doesn't like children. I didn't rate veey low score here cuz he apologised said he was under lots of pressure during graduation season and said we are welcome to stay again. But really No Thanks.

Fantastic B&B just a short walk from Cambridge city center. The owners Maria and Guido have thought of everything and nothing is too much trouble once you’re there. Our room was comfortable and spacious with ample hanging space, numerous plug sockets, clean towels every day, beautiful toiletries, milk and water left in the fridge each day etc etc. Breakfast is amazing. Lots of choice, exceptional cooking and friendly chat.

Everything was perfect , the copious breakfast ( thank you Maria), the very tasteful rooms, our hosts. The center of town ( kings college) is a bit of a walk, but a pleasant one along the river Can”m. This is my third visit and by far, the best.

Friendly hosts, great hospitality, excellent english breakfast. Room had all the amenities including bathrobes and a small fridge (with fresh milk for tea). Walking distance to the city center. Small supermarket and some restaurants nearby.

Fabulous property and hosts

The hosts were incredible..nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and very comfortable with lovely touches. Maria cooks a wonderful breakfast and Guido kept us entertained every morning. Besides the unbelievably generous, funny and kind hosts Maria and Guido it is the attention to detail. It’s like they’ve read all the hotel reviews and catered for every complaint that has ever been made. The huge bed 😍 was ridiculously comfy. The room amenities included a magnified mirror, bathrobes, slippers, umpteen charging ports , coffee, tea, a teapot, chocolates, biscuits, lollipops, hooks on the doors, face washers, toiletries, huge tv, bins without lids, a bath tub, a lounge with two foot stools and a coffee table between, a single lounge chair with a side table, a desk, free parking space, a small supermarket across the road, restaurants within 5 minute walking distance and breakfast is amazingly delicious and included. Just brilliant.

A lovely B&B in a great location.

We had a short but lovely stay at Worth House. It is very well located, walking distance the River Cam and the historic centre of Cambridge. The room was very tastefully decorated and comfortable offering a generous selection of amenities and snacks. Guido is super friendly, hospitable and helpful. Breakfast provided by Maria was delicious and plentiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Worth House.

Convenient and comfortable stay in Cambridge

We had a great time staying at Worth House, and we received a very warm welcome when we arrived from Guido. Our room was comfortable and everything had been thought of (I appreciated the extra charger sockets in the room and the fan for the warmer weather). The location was perfect for us as it was a short walk into the centre of Cambridge, and we also made use of the bus stop nearby. The breakfast was as good as everyone says, many thanks to Maria for the food and Guido for the service and lovely chats! Guido even convinced me to try my first ever cup of coffee, and he made it so well that he may have converted me. If we come to Cambridge again we will try to stay here again.
