Very comfortable bed. Everything very clean. Good bus service to town centre.

Struggled a bit with the operation of the shower - not very intuitive.

the room was really nicely setup, with lots of little touches to make it extra special (e.g. water bottles as well as tea and coffee, slippers). The family room with the separate space was especially appreciated. Breakfast was freshly cooked and the staff really friendly and accommodating.

Breakfasts were excellent. The location was excellent, not only for the bus route into Cambridge, but also its proximity to the Milton Arms pub.

Parking was a bit hit and miss although we didn't need to use the car during our stay. Otherwise couldn't fault our stay.

Room clean, fair standard of decoration. Quiet at night.

More stairs than I would have liked including a twist and a low ceiling. Difficult for elderly/disabled. Noise from downstairs fairly audible during day. I did not appreciate the automatic check-in carried out over the phone, the limited check-in times, nor having to state what time I wanted breakfast the night before - hardly relaxing or welcoming. Suitable for business travellers perhaps, but not guests trying to have a relaxing break. Breakfast was cheap and cheerful - no vegetarian options, no fresh fruit, over processed bread. Frankly not good enough in this day and age. I had to make do with one poor quality egg and a tomato. There was no guest lounge, despite advertisement. No tourist brochures etc. All about making money for the least possible outlay. Another disappointing and misleading booking from Booking.com.
